I don’t know why this guy indicates that he’s using the Magna Carta - that has nothing to do with this. We hold the power of presentment according to our Constitution.
Now Donofrio is making the clarification that the power of presentment can only be used once the grand jury is sworn in under federal court authority. If he failed to make that clarification up front when he wrote the original articles, then he should accept some responsibility for this incident. He inspired them and empowered them with his legal opinions.
Now we’re left to wonder other legal opinions he has issued and not clarified that will inspire and empower others to take illegal action that could put them in jail.
