CBS News is now reporting a five-hour “standoff” between the crew and the pirates and “conflicting reports” whether the crew has actually regained control. David Martin reporting from the Pentagon...
Some reports that the crew is holding one pirate hostage...some crew members called relatives to tell them they have control of “part of the ship”...
Fox is talking to the CEO of the ship, I hope the crew gets a BIG bonus!

I’ll be reading when they get something that gives the full details of what happened. I don’t even think anyone knows the full story at this point in time. In fact, officials rarely do in the beginning and that’s why “breaking stories” are notoriously inaccurate...

At least 12 of the Americans aboard the Maersk Alabama are members of the Seafarers International Union, spokesman Jordan Biscardo said. The union is trying to get as much information on the situation as it can, he said.
