Israel Steps It Up

Defense: On the same day a plot to supply Iran with nuclear materials is revealed, Israel conducts a missile defense test. Nothing concentrates the mind quite so wonderfully as the threat of imminent extinction.

On Tuesday, word came that the Manhattan district attorney's office had smashed a plot to smuggle nuclear weapons materials to Iran through unwitting New York banks. A 118-count indictment accuses Chinese financier Lei Feng Wei of setting up fake companies to hide that he was selling millions of dollars in potential nuclear materials to Tehran.

As the New York Daily News reports, among the materials involved were 33,000 pounds of a specialized aluminum alloy used almost exclusively in long-range missile production, 66,000 pounds of tungsten copper plate used in missile guidance systems, and 53,900 pounds of maraging steel rods, a super-hard metal used in uranium enrichment and to make the casings for nuclear bombs.

We have commented on Iran's cooperation with North Korea on missile technology. The pledge by Iran's mad Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to wipe Israel off the map remains in full force.

Unlike the U.S., Israel is moving full speed ahead on missile defense, and even if Iran's missile threat went away tomorrow, Israel's determination to defend itself would not.

God Bless the nation of Israel.

It's painfully obvious our leaders in Washington are gonna leave our friends hanging out to dry.

If the American people ever knew how many times Israeli intelligence has saved our @sses.

"Are We crazy ?"

Well, we did elect Obama. Or, at least, somebody elected him. That qualifies as crazy.

The Obama Administration is hanging OUR asses out to dry.

Why is the Left so against self-defense? They oppose individuals preparing and acting in self-defense, pointing at the government's responsibility for defending the people. But then they attack the police and attack the military and our defense contractors, who attempt to create a practical self-defense.

Do they hate themselves so much, that they welcome mass death?

I visited the Holocaust museum in DC this past Saturday. Israel has every right to be concerned considering previous attempts at their extinction...

If a radi were necessary, “permission from Obama” isn’t what holds the Israelis back.

Because? IF Israel decided it was worth the risk to attack Iran’s nuclear ambitions, exactly how would Obama put AMerican pilots at risk?

You think its easy to shoot down Israeli pilots? I think not. And, I think the stink for Obama would be huge if American pilots were told to attack Israeli planes. And, then “didn’t make it.” Lots of pilots who have tried to “take down” Israeli jets have failed at it.

That, alone, would give Obama more nightmares than what’s going on now, in a life boat that has no fuel. But holds an American hostage.

Every day, Obama gets to see that his media apparatus is no better than a broken teleprompter.

Israel is withholding attacking Iran because it doesn’t make sense to attack iran. Let alone how much grief this now gives ALL the sunnis. Not just the ones under Maliki’s thumb in Irak. But you got it. From Kuwait ta’ Mecca. It doesn’t smell so good.
