Al Jazeera's Presence on PBS Alarms Some

Al Jazeera television is known for airing Islamic extremist videos and even hosted an on-air birthday celebration for convicted Lebanese terrorist Samir Kuntar who murdered four Israelis in 1979.

"It is a professional institution but it is a militant institution that wants to convey an ideological Jihadi message," said Walid Phares, a terrorism analyst for FOX News.

Critics charge that the Jihadist message now is making its way to public broadcasting in America.

The fundamental problem is that PBS should not exist. We don’t need government-subsidized television.

PBS, NPR, Amtrack, and soon most news papers, they should all be shut down.

Actually, don’t be alarmed by this: Al Jazeera has excellent news services, much better than anything the MSM in America or anywhere else puts out. They actually report the news and avoid interpreting it for you: that is what their news magazines are for.

On the very odd occasions when I get time to watch TV news, I will prefer to watch Al Jazeera over any of our local channels.

Paradoxically, this is a good development for PBS. Tho’ it is a harsh indictment of the state of the MSM when the Enemy’s favorite newscast is better than anything the Good Guys can do.

Let me give you a unique perspective, I walked into a Dunkin doughnuts that is about one block from Al Jazeera world HQs one night. The show that was on Al Jazerra at the top of the hour on this particular day was, saluting heroes, The 9/11 bombing of the World Trade Center. Now if looks could kill everyone of those muzzies had me dead, but looks do not kill. Strength and power does so I was fine. The killing done by muslims is cowardly because that is what they are in reality. I have lived in Doha, Qatar for over two years, and IMHO 90 percent of the mullahs are the most rude, inconsiderate ba$tards I have ever met.
