So what does this mean? My state is one listed - Georgia. What is the significance of the bill?

Means your state (and the others) is tired of the Feds pushing them around.
It sounded like the legislators in Indiana had the will to fight. There were 19 co authors, including the President pro tem of the Senate. Now to the House where there are a few more Dems.
Three Dems signed on in the Senate as co authors and the vote was 44-3 which means a number of Dems voted for it.
I am encouraged as there are a number of states that have passed state sovereignty legislation. I am delighted with the Indiana State Senate, and with the Senator who authored this bill.
We're hearing a lot of talk about secession here in Texas.
Your state is laying the groundwork to push back and try to stop some of the horrible legislation coming out of Washington. They are laying a foundation to fight this. It will probably mean a fight.
Look at the vote totals in each state! I don’t remember any of them even being close. Democrats are voting for this in state legislatures. They probably fear the wrath of the voters.
Even though it will probably mean a fight, it is giving us leaders in the states to fight unconstitutional laws. We’re better off with this than without it.
Please ~ping~ me to articles relating to the 10th Amendment/States Rights so I can engage the pinger.
I've stopped scouring threads and unilaterally adding names to the ping list, so if you want on or off the list just say so.

Now I gotta run gather up grandkids for a long weekend visit. Pray for me ;^)
Are you now?
Someone last week kinda deflated the idea, saying that the legislature was ‘rat infested.
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
The federal government is doing all kinds of things which violate the 10th Amendment, and violate the Constitution in many other respects. Welfare, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and the Department of Education are a few examples.
Repubs still control the Leg but, I'm not sure they have the cajones. YET!
Thanks-have a fun week end.
Politicians tend to GET cajones when the people deluge them with “support”.
The support is there. They’ll need extra large cojones for this endeavor.
The tenth amendment might be forgotten, but it ain't dead. And these states and others are looking to make it relevant in this 21st century.
This is a good thing.
There is a lot of support for your state in other states!
Cause We Rock!
Thanks for the support!
'Course we'd give Austin back. SF on the Colorado.
I'm jumping on board with this. Texas can do a better job governing and defending Texas than Washington DC can. When I hear our politicians say they are waiting on Washington to beef up border security, I want to scream. If they won't do it, we should do it ourselves.
It’s a guide of places the rest of us will move to soon.
