Moombats dream that the "V" sign is for peace, but it stands for VICTORY. Moonbats dream that the peace circle is an original symbol, but it is a anti-Christian up-side-down cross. Moonbats dream of "PEACE" but can’t “imagine” that disposing of a dictator and having peace with freedom takes boots on the ground with our Air Force over head and our Navy on the seas. Moonbats "IMAGINE PEACE" but from their sign (BELOW - far left of pic), one has to imagine what it says while traveling at 35 MPH.

The 9 Patriots this Saturday included Legionnaires Glenn (USMC - WWII),Francis (Army - WWII) Dave (Army - WWII), Halsey (USMC - Korea), Frank (Army- Korea) and Dennis (Army - Vietnam) along with Lurker Bill and FReepers Cindy_True_Supporter, [Mrs] Trooprally and myself.

It was seriously windy today, continuing from last night at Walter Reed. It was gusting in Olney to just over 40 MPH so no banners were put up, and the flags were put up using a short flag poles. The short flag poles didn’t make a difference since the flags were constantly unfurled and were not in our way.

WARNING TO FREEPERS ATTENDING OLNEY

Some new money making SPEED CAMERAS have been installed on north bound Georgia Avenue right before you enter the main business district. Slow your speed after the light at King William Drive.

And a new one has been placed just south of Brookeville, between Brookeville and the Longwood Community Center.

Where did you find out that the peace sign represented an upside-down cross?

The Democratic Underground, A perverse web site that is frequented by liberals, has posting’s that obama (zer0) must be stopped now from winning or completing any military victory, as that is what Johnson tried to do. And that is what brought about a Conservative Republican (Ron) and Now that they have smashed it. zer0 must be stopped or it will happen again.

And they call themselves Americans???

The peace sign originated in Britain. The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament wanted a symbol. They created one by representing two letters of the semaphore flag alphabet: N D, for Nuclear Disarmament. See this article in the BBC Magazine: "World's best-known protest symbol turns 50".

If it were an upside-down cross, the arms would be perpendicular to the stem. If you invert it, it's more like a man stretching his arms up and out and saying, with a yawn, "I'm turning in."

Eagle Forgotten As the article says: "This, of course, led some people to condemn it as a communist sign," says Mr Kolsbun. "There has always been a lot of misconception and disinformation about it." Thanks for clarifying some mis-information I heard for a person who usually gets it right.
