Thank you for the friendly dialog. You have given me much to think about and research. As a retired medico, I’m sometimes baffled by the political things that are happening around me and look to FR and its members to help me understand. Again, thank you.
You’re welcome..., but, just realize that Free Republic is just as polarized as it seems to be “outside”, too...
Face it, I haven’t found anyone who agrees with me all the time, and I don’t agree with them all the time, either.... :-)
In fact, I get called a lot of names by other FReepers, too... LOL... [in fact, just as I’m composing this, someone is calling me a name, right this very second, no kidding..., I just saw it... ]
The only thing you can do is simply look at the reasoning that some give and see if it makes sense. A lot of it (in my way of thinking) is absolutely *baloney* — but that’s the way it goes... Others, though, do have some good information...
