If the government has its way, Eminems new single could land him in jail, Jon Stewarts book, America, could have been banned, and advertising Michael Moores Fahrenheit 9/11 on television or radio would have been a felony. Thats what the government argued two weeks ago in my organizations Supreme Court case against the Federal Election Commission, Citizens United v. FEC. In oral arguments before the nine justices of the Supreme Court, the Deputy Solicitor General of the United States asserted that the government had the constitutional authority to criminalize the production of any communication with corporate assistance (such as from a publishing house or a film studio) that advocates the election or defeat of a federal candidate near an election

I don't understand this. I mean I understand Hollywood being biased and hypocritical. I understand a Democratic government trying to expand government power and fearing free speech.
What I don't understand is why they wouldn't put it together that far more media favors Democrats so a law banning media from trying to influence elections would appear to hurt the Dems.
Could they possibly be that afraid of Rush Limbaugh?

You are assuming, wrongly so, that anything the left does will be subject to any such laws. They won't.

For such a law to hurt the left would require that it be equally enforced. How equally have election laws been enforced the last couple of decades? Think Chi Com military money and Buddhist Temples and "no controlling legal authority".

“Hello, Thought Police? I would like to report that despite Ear Leader’s assertion that we are not a Christian nation, the American Broadcasting Company is airing that piece of Judeo-Christian propaganda, “The Ten Commandments”, tonight.
It’s scaring me. God is talking in it and he’s not always happy and fun.
Please make them stop.”

Maybe we all haven't understood it yet. The Progressive Left wants to do away with the Constitution, The Bill of Rights and all the amendments that have made our country great.
If we don't start acting now, within the next three years there will be no Constitution as handed down by our forefathers.
The April 15th, TEA PARTIES have to be conducted in every city and every state to let these people know that we won't stand for the coups etat.
The people we elected to congress and the Senate have sold the American people down the river.
I think it's necessary for Americans to clean up this mess that we have allowed to happen.
