Got news for the Marxist media. It's not about the Tea, or the Tax. It's the Tyranny, stupid.
vanity | Tax Day Tea Party Revolt

When you boil it all down, the original Boston Tea Party was not about the Tea. Nor the Tax. History proves it was about the Tyranny. Same as today.

See you at the Tea Party.

You know what....there would have been NO mistake about what the Tea Parties are about, had it NOT been a bipartisan effort!! The SIGNAGE would have said it all!!

It is being heralded at right-wing anyway...THAT’S exactly what it should have been. IMO

Fox is now doing there best, courtesy of Sheppard Smith, to downplay the DHS report...saying conservatives and our military are “overreacting”...Catherine Herridge chiming in that the (right-wing) Report was begun during the Bush administration and only now released.

Frankly, I hope there are more signs at the tea parties about Socialism, Communism, Constitution, Gun Control, Immigration, etc....all the conservative things that the Report attacks. Bottom line...IMO, with that report, this Administration has declared war on conservatives.

Jim, I wish I lived out west so I could meet you and
thank you in person for all you have done for us and for
our nation, maybe someday you’ll take a southern tour and
we’ll meet, till then thanks for every FReeping Thing.

Tet68

It is time to be Americans again.

We bow to no flag,
we respect our own.
We bow to no man.
We do what needs being done.
We wait for no one, we lead.
If you won’t follow, get out of our way.
We help those in need.
We are friends to those who desire peace.
We are fierce enemys of those who would destroy us.
We free those who desire freedom.
Americans have a god given right to self defense,
on the land and on the sea
in the air and in space.
Don’t like it? We don’t care.
Try and stop us? If you dare.
America, it’s not a nation, it’s not a country,
it’s a state of mind.

See everyone at the Tea Party.
Will take some pic and post
when I get back.

Eagles UP!
Freepers to the FRONT!
God Bless America.

It's the Tyranny, stupid!

I think I've found my sign for today's Tea Party.

How right you are, Jim.

I wish I could make the DC Party but work intrudes.

The media wants to place the focus on a single issue, especially taxes, because if they place the focus upon the start of a tyrannical Government most of the US would actually understand and do something about it.

By bending the focus towards taxes the liberals can then use the envy and greed of the masses to paint conservatives as uncaring greedy money grubbers rather than the freedom and liberty loving people we really are.

Yes, Jim. My favorite statement about the situation:

“I prefer to live in a country that has a government, instead of the reverse.”

Attended in Denver, big crowd, all ages. Main activity was taking pictures of each other’s signs and costumes, which trended toward colonial-era (tri-cornered hats, etc.). Biggest surprise to me was how many young people were there and into it.

Jim, you’re quite right about this being about tyranny... we quite obviously hear from this administration about how they want to regulate conservatism and consign it to oblivion. They will try to do that through legislation, much of it already passed and soon to be signed into law. It all winds up in the Federal Register, and soon thereafter becomes many pages in the Code of Federal Regulations.

There is a lot written about the number of pages (some 70,000) in the Federal Register, and the 25-30 feet of shelf space required to hold those books. But that’s minuscule compared to the approximate 160,000 pages of the Code of Federal Regulations as it currently exists – which places an enormous hidden tax burden on the American people, estimated to be almost equal to, if not greater than the tax we all pay on this day every year.

What we hear from Obama is the promise of much more upcoming regulation, far more than that proposed by any prior administration. Regulation of banking, auto manufacturing, ‘green’ energy, Internet communication and Radio broadcasting, socialized medicine, mandatory ‘public service,’ executive salaries, credit-card companies, gun rights, hedge fund and derivative markets – and your use of electricity, by installing meters that tell you to turn your lights off. (You might as well accept the meter – because you won’t be able to afford lighting soon anyway.)

And that's just a sample of what's coming.

In short, there is nothing this man, with the assistance of his sycophants in Congress and major media, is not willing to regulate – except any tyranny proposed and conducted by the political left.

Freedom is lost under tyranny, yet that's the path this socialist government is storming down - hell-bent on creating less freedom, and much more tyranny – to hell with the tax consequences, and to hell with the protesters.

It will prove to get worse than many imagine at this point in time... but, the bottom line stands against them. I don’t think they realize just what they are messing with – because we’re not like the Spaniards, the French, the Germans or the Brits that rolled over and accepted socialist tyranny with scarcely a whimper. This fight has only just begun, and the odds are - these tyrants will lose badly.

Now, I've got to get back to work.. 8^)

The reference to tyranny says it all for me. That’s exactly what these tea parties are all about.

One thing about it - when you get the kind of unanimous derision across the media that this has garnered, you know you’ve struck a nerve. I wish someone would ask one of them “Why do you find this so threatening?” It’d be interesting to hear that answer. BTT.

The biggest message that can be sent is for the net tea partiers to go viral on a message to contribute to a handful (say 5) conservative candidates running next year. For example, Toomey in PA. Sen a message. Flood the campaign coffers. Keep it focused.

I signed a petition for a new real Republican to run against the fake Republican Senator currently in office at the Tea Party. I will be volunteering my time for his campaign as well.

If everyone who attended a Tea Party axtivates, we can snuff the Obama revolution in its crib.
