No one will do jack......it is too late.

Plus it's illegal to secede. Even Perry is now admitting that it's illegal - he's been making the rounds trying to backtrack on what he said.

As far as the secession talk, some Texans find it insulting. My son, who is in the Marines and over in Afghanistan, was none too happy about it, saying that he and a lot of other Texans signed up to defend the United States, and not just Texas.

Personally, I think he's taking it a little too personal - there's only one other Texan in his platoon, and both of them are barely out of high school, and his Marine buddies were apparently razzing them over it. Kids at that age tend to take things a little more personal than they should.

I met Perry in 1996 and knew all I Learned all I needed to know about him then.

He is now, and will always be, a “lesser of 2 evils” kind of candidate, having no real position other than those that benefit Rick Perry.

His Secession statments weren’t sincere, they only were meant to pull votes away from Hutchison.

Texas is supposedly slated to lose a lot south of the panhandle to the ocean.
