Belton Texas Tea Party - Pix Inside

Posted on 04/15/2009 7:54:05 PM PDT by TexasBeth

We had a great turn out. It was estimated to be around 500 people. Wonderful speakers, friendly Texans, and a few moonbats, just for fun.

There were only about a dozen. They were quiet for the most part. They were pointed out by the speaker, so I decided to venture back to get some pix. An older man asked them why they were here. One woman answered “I didn’t have anything better to do”. I looked at her laughing and said “I can believe that”. They were harmless but left the talking points on our windshield.

Thank you president obama? Does she have a reason to thank obama? Oh that’s right, he’s sort of black.

My family lived in Belton from 1851 - 1945. They would have loved to be there with you. God Bless Texas

BTW Oregon is NOT Yankee country. Oregon had to be garrisoned to prevent
her from seceding.

This brought a tear to my eye.

Belton, Texas was the town where I spent my only night in jail, long ago and far away.

God bless ‘em.

THIS NATIONS SURPLUS?

YOU WHERE SILENT FOR EIGHT YEARS, YET NOW YOU HOLD A PHONY
TEA PARTY TO COMPLAIN ABOUT TAXES????

STOP THE LIES!

SUPPORT PRESIDENT OBAMA WHO WAS ELECTED BY THE MAJORITY OF
VOTERS WHO ELECTED HIM TO GET US OUT OF THIS MESS!

IT IS TIME FOR HONEST, OPEN DEBATE! YOUR LITTLE TEA PARTY IS A PLOY

THE ONLY FOOL IS YOU! ALL OF YOU WHO VOTED ONCE AND
UNBELIEVABLY EVEN VOTED TWICE FOR BUSH NEED TO GO HOME

AND PAY YOUR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES!

Cool, how’s Belton Lake these days. Wife and I spent a lot of time skiing there one summer about 35 years ago years ago while stationed at Hood.

The lady and young girl on the right are the wife and daughter of solider killed in Iraq.

The ones on the left are TexasBeth and her daughter.

The sign in the picture below that one, does not belong to the holder, it belongs to TexasBeth.

I was at the Belton party. Fairly good turnout, but I was expecting more.

I went to the early Waco tea party, and it had a substantially better turnout. During working hours to boot. There were about 600 people.

The Belton party did not have an open mike, but rather had prearranged speakers. That's the only gripe I have, other than the goofy Moonbats of course. Maybe 8 people?
