Hopeless vanity regarding Atlanta Tea Party. It has been estimated that about 15,000 - 20,000 people were present! This is true! Those organizers did an extremely good job!!

I'm too pooped to post the pictures. Tomorrow.

I saw it on Hannity. It looked like quite a crowd. I ride MARTA and when I arrived at the train station a little after 6PM I could not believe how packed it was. It did not look like any ACORN types got into the crowd as far as I could see on Hannity.

Same here! There must have been 1,000 people at the North River station where we boarded. Those folks were in a great mood, and it was so easy to get into meaninful conversation. I even met a family that came up from Florida just to participate in Atlanta's rally.

My hat is also off to Marta. They moved a lot of people efficiently, and with friendly faces.

It was a wonderful experience.

Hotlanta!!

To be fair... DFW area had many smaller rallies instead of one. Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Richardson, Southlake and more

I'm pooped, but not so much to miss the fun of that. Thanks!

If I ever leave Georgia, it would because of a move to Texas. I love you blockheads.

There was one black guy at Centennial Olympic Park, before we started the march, who gave us all a hard time. He kept repeating curse words alternating with Bush. We offered him a chance to join us, then we ignored him peacefully. We never had another troll after that. It was a river of pissed off humanity, trudging toward the Capitol. If there were any naysayers enroute, they had the good sense to shut up and watch.

There were several thousands in Olympia, WA - right on the steps of the Legislative building.

The TEA parties are a solid start. But we, the people, have to follow up by having “Push Back Until” events later this year, early next year, and for as long as we have to: http://pushbackuntil.com.

It will not be easy, but how interested are we in saving our country from an irresponsible Congress? If we, the people, do nothing, our country is finished.

“Be in D.C. to Push Back Until!”

My 14 year old daughter and I had a blast this evening at the Atlanta Tea Party. She came home and immediately wrote our senators! (And I didn’t even mention/suggest this!)

My only problem with the evening was the location. It was hard to accommodate the HUGE crowd that came. Would Centennial Park have been better?

I was so encouraged to see packed MARTA cars filled with friendly patriots....but I think we may have freaked a few of the regular riders out! Hee! Hee!

“My only problem with the evening was the location. It was hard to accommodate the HUGE crowd that came. Would Centennial Park have been better?”

It was originally scheduled for there, but the authority found some reason to revoke the permit so it was moved to the gold dome.

I wondered at times if I was at a Fair-Tax rally. A lot of Fair-Tax signs in the crowd. The two main chants were “USA” and “Fair Tax”.

I’m wondering if this movement will pinpoint ending the income tax as the issue that defines it.
