How bad a representative does Perez Hilton make for the pro gay-marriage cause? Even the Today show, normally a reliable bastion of political correctness on social issues, seemed more sympathetic to Miss California when both were interviewed this morning. Making his case against Carrie Prejean, Perez proffered a pastiche of personal insult and intellectual incoherence. In contrast, Miss California took the high road, putting personal integrity ahead of temporal achievement.
Hilton was in a hole even before the live interview began. Today ran a clip of Hilton’s comments from yesterday in which he called Prejean a “dumb b—ch.”
When Perez appeared, questioned by Matt Lauer, his answers were an inconsistent jumble. When Lauer asked if “we’re ushering in a new era . . where these contestants are going to be subjectively judged on political and moral and religious beliefs,” Hilton replied “I hope not.”
But just a few minutes later Hilton declared that “Miss USA is not a person that’s politically incorrect.”
So which is it?

I’d love to see miss NC step down or be forced out by a scandal, and then see miss CA ascend to the throne-that little fag would sure have his panties in a bunch.
I wonder if Trump is still a part owner of this pageant. Wonder what he thinks of this flaming homosexual "judge" who's still running his mouth off and directly affecting the pageant's bottom line.
Politics aside, this flap is not over yet.....always follow the money trail.
I really don't care one way or another as I never watch Miss America, Miss USA, Miss World, Miss Budweiser or Miss Piggy. There's enough to worry about one's own bottom line let alone Trump's or that of anyone else who's involved in the flesh trade.

Hilton is a “friend” of Donald Trump and Trump owns the pagent. He appeared on Trump’s show “Celebrity Apprentice” recently and “judged” a viral blog contest.
He has no relevance. Many professional gay people I know consider him a complete and utter embarrassment.
And thanks, Perez, for giving the Yes on 8 people yet another wonderful soundbite to use if you twits ever bring this up again. You might ask Gavin Newsome how his arrogant comments, used in a Yes on 8 ad, turned many opinions and got many people to vote Yes on 8.

Miss California won everything in my book. Why was this gay activist even a judge and why did he let his personal feeling get in the way of his job? This right here tells us that Prop 8 was the right thing to do.
Apparently Mr. Hilton doesn’t understand the meaning of the word “politics”. The last election in California shows that Miss California is politically correct, not him.

The ugly, angry, self-loathing left will “get” her. They own colleges, most major employers, most TV stations and newspapers. They won’t forget that a beautiful, kind, tolerant normal person said something the left doesn’t like.
I think it's time to start writing Trump and the advertisers. Let Trump have a hard time putting this thing on.

What a freak!
The bar’s height is not set by us but by Judaeo-Christian principles on which this Nation was founded.
The very existence and memory of that bar is what some strive to purge.
None of us can reach it consistently.
But for the grace of God we all fail.

Still trying to figure out who Perez Hilton is.
The guy who subs for KABC radio this morning says that he lives around the same neighborhood as Perez and they both get coffee at the same place.
He said Perez comes in all the time with the same clothes on looking like they have never been washed. He says his hair is matted and greasy every time he foes out.
And that Perez goes out to get his coffee while wearing pink bunnyslippers that are black with grime. He walks over pavement and asphault in the slippers.
He’s a pig ... and he looks it.
Perez specializes in “outing” gays who want to remain anonymous.
