The state House of Representatives passed the gay marriage bill late Wednesday night - codifying the State Supreme Court's controversial decision that legalized gay marriage in Connecticut. The House voted, 100 to 44, several hours after the state Senate had voted, 28 to 7, to approve the codification. Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell says she will sign the bill into law. The bill was supported on the House and Senate floors by the two co-chairmen of the legislature's judiciary committee - Rep. Michael P. Lawlor of East Haven in the House and Sen. Andrew McDonald of Stamford in the Senate.

Even the concept of “codifying the court decision” was a sign of no backbone. Basically, the Conn. legislature bent over and allowed the courts to violate them.
And you can bet this will spread across the country.
the was nothing in the court decision that asked the legislature to “codify it’s decision”. it was weirdly worded opinion and an excuse by the legislature to do this.
We shouldn’t get so focused on gay marriage that we forget the Ten Commandments.

Nobody on this site is “so focused on gay marriage”. On Wednesday, it was the Conn. state legislature that was so focused on gay marriage. And, yes, they forgot the Ten Commandments.

Or having a successful civil war happen, at some point in the future. The majority of non-leftists must seriously come together and then actually have either a successful revolution or a successful civil war, if this country is ever going to seriously be a capitalistic country again. Anything less than this and leftists will just keep on being in complete control of everything important politically. If “leftists v.s. non-leftists” ends up even going global, than the final result may be even better for non-leftists, if they actually do win.

Christians who want God to hear prayers, forgive national sins, and heal their homeland are wise to follow the steps He laid out to Solomon.
Your nation needs your prayers. As you become aware of unhealthy trends and decisions, start with a personal heart cleansing: confess and repent of any known sin (1 John 1:9). Then cry out to our heavenly Father for the return of a vibrant, God-fearing culture.
