Furious Obama Apologizes: "It Will Never Happen Again"
A furious President Barack Obama ordered an internal review of Monday's low-flying photo op over the Statue of Liberty.
CBS 2 HD has discovered the feds will have plenty to question.
Federal officials knew that sending two fighter jets and Air Force One to buzz ground zero and Lady Liberty might set off nightmarish fears of a 9/11 replay, but they still ordered the photo-op kept secret from the public.
In a memo obtained by CBS 2 HD the Federal Aviation Administration's James Johnston said the agency was aware of "the possibility of public concern regarding DOD (Department of Defense) aircraft flying at low altitudes" in an around New York City. But they demanded total secrecy from the NYPD, the Secret Service, the FBI and even the mayor's office and threatened federal sanctions if the secret got out.

It sure is. I have come to accept this fact.
The more I think about this stunt the more enraged I get. This POS in the White House effectively TERRORIZED an entire city for the purpose of a PR photo.
And I don’t for one second buy this crap that he didn’t know that this was happening. It is Air Force friggin One!! HIS PLANE!! Are we really supposed to believe that the president of the United States would not know about not having his primary mode of transport available for a few hours? Bush was supposed to know about the daily actions of individual lower enlisted soldiers at Abu Ghraib, but Obama doesn’t know when someone takes his friggin plane out for a joyride with a couple of F-16s??? This guy is just unbelievable.
This needs to be investigated. This CANNOT be forgotten.

It was a terrorist attack. Why? It was reasonably foreseeable that such a flight would cause a mass panic — terror — in NYC. Therefore it is an act malum se. A crime. It was a terrorist attack on Manhattan ordered by the White House.
So where is the memo?
Obama is dangerously childish and vindictive, as we have seen in every case, and Wall Street has been squirming to get out from under his thumb.
Look what happened when Cheney demanded that the rest of the interrogation memos be released - within 24 hours, Obama went from "no prosecutions, let's look forward" to prosecutions on unspecified enemies of Obama, and thousands of abu grabass pictures released while our mission - and I'm sure ROE's - is strictly "winning hearts and minds" as we move out of Iraq.
Terrorizing New York was just another reminder what happens to the pharaoh from the ghetto's "children" if they cross him.
No way in hell he doesn't know where his plane is.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
Why NOT keep it all secret? Why would the Fed.gov trust Americans with that info? We don’t even have an American as President!

I happened to catch part of Leno’s monologue and he was joking about how the “government” stupidly sent a “747” over New York. He never mentioned it was Air Force One or connected it to the White House in any way. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised the lengths these people go to to cover for Obama, but it’s still frustrating.
