“but the girls’ attorney, Mike Grace, said he fears the decision could open the door to more religious discrimination”
Is it just me or does this quote show an extreme lack of intelligence on the part of the girls’ lawyers? It would be RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION if the school were not ALLOWED to follow its principles and teachings, and required student conduct. And, this is NOT a public school — it is a PRIVATE RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION.
Again Isaiah 5:20 comes to mind (so MANY times lately...):
Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)
20Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Onward to the 9th Circus? Wouldn’t put it past them.
Savor it. {g}
Way out of line here...but to be expected from some I guess...
Do you not actually believe in actual liberty - non-government involvement in private affairs? You are stating the same type of argument as those that want universal government control...
Oh I agree with you, don’t get me wrong. All I’m saying is let’s not dilute ourselves into thinking the Judges have finally “seen the light”. They did it for purely selfish reasons.
The skewed language by this liberal sh**hole news site is uncanny. "Lets"? As if the Church school were "allowed" to practice their beliefs.
That would be their right, and it’s fine with me.
