Rush On Jeb Bush, Romney: They "Hate" And "Despise" Palin
Real Clear Politics ^ | 4 May 09 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 05/04/2009 2:23:38 PM PDT by Robbin

Discussing the Republican listening tour conducted by Former Governors Jeb Bush (FL) and Mitt Romney (MA), radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh said they are "embarrassed" by Sarah Palin. Limbaugh said the underlying issue of these speaking engagements is that Bush and Romney "hate" and "despise" the Alaska Governor and former running-mate of John McCain. Limbaugh added they have "presidential perspirations" and called their tour an "early campaign event." Rush concluded this "need to praise" President Obama leaves him "wanting."

Jeb Bush wants to run for President? Not another tounge tied, “bi-partisan’ Bush for the Left to beat up on. No more Bushs. No more Rinos.

Those who have made their lives' work painting the world in shades of gray and indeterminate pastels hate the woman coming in with buckets of bright primary colors.

Repeating in bold for emphasis. Wonderful analogy.

I don’t think the blue bloods are chauvinists, I think they are elitists.

Which is another reason they hate Sarah. She's self made, from the boots, up. Straight up from the working class on her own steam and ability, holding fast to her honesty and principles all the way.

She's not part of some political dynasty, nor is she an entrenched career politician from some country club, blue blood background of privilege.

Sarah is the real thing, much like Reagan was, and our Founders before him. We all saw that in her, and it's why we reacted to her as we did.

No - Sarah isn't part of the blue blood camp. She's one of us.

As beautiful and feminine as Sarah is she twice the man that Mitt & Jeb are. She is one of us and I pray she reemerges large & strong in 2012.

Exactly why the blue bloods and DC want to destroy her politically. She will have K street and all the money changers and grifters in fear since they will have to find real employment. I hope she champions an alternative tax system that nueters K street. She can sell it to the American People, she has that Reagan Gift.

I just got an e-mail where they say that Gov.Palin is now "in"...I just hope that she's not just "in" but that she will be 'In Charge'!!!
I seen a clip of Romney on television tonight where he was being very demeaning of Palin....when the previous primaries were coming down to a choice between McCain and Romney I even sent some cash to ole 'GQ' himself because I figured that with his business background he'd be the better choice...fat chance he'll see a dime from me again after the performance I seen tonight!
McCain didn't see a dime from me but I did make contributions to the Palin part of the ticket in '08 and will contribute to SarahPac and her legal defense fund as well. Those will be my only contributions until I see more Reaganesqe words and actions from the GOP or other candidates.

We all revere RR but he also made mistakes, like amnesty. Some of his compromises (like the ones to get the tax cuts) didn’t turn out so well, leading to more big government that outstripped the increased tax collections.

And this big government was just part of an increasing mindset in the electorate and the representatives that this is what government officials are supposed to do... dream up ways to spend money to solve “problems”.

And the left will never run out of newly discovered or invented crises and moral wrongs and terrible things happening to people or pets or air or water or something that absolutely requires government to increase spending... and their in the bag media will talk it up until everyone is sure we are all doomed unless something is done (spending more money that the Dems and even the Reps will happily skim) about this manufactured crisis.

I’m not sure any more which government is the most corrupt...
Mexico, Iraq or U.S.

In sheer dollar amounts siphoned away, we are probably the most corrupt now.

I’ve gotten off the track. I meant to say that if Reagan had lived through this era, he would have corrected the errors he made in the past. We can’t say, he did it, so it’s okay. We have to give him the credit that he would have evolved his conservatism and not taken us into the weeds we are in now.

We have to start saying, “yes, I am a conservative and I am compassionate. But government is about defending life, liberty and property; and my private moral and religious life and those of other believers are responsible privately to maintain private charities to address the social ills of man. Government should get out of the social ills business altogether.

When someone says now, “Don’t you care about such and such,” I will say, “yes, very much, but I believe in contributing voluntarily my private money, skills and time to help in that area. It is not the proper role of government to do that. Things end up worse using government to solve social problems, and not using private charities and personal involvement of people who care.”

I just hope that she's not just "in" but that she will be 'In Charge'!

I'm hoping the same. Given the time it took for Sarah to reply to their invitation, it's a good bet that she and her strategists thought long and hard about this choice.

I would hope that they decided to have Sarah join the re-branding tour so that she could control that "re-branding", if there is to be such a thing.

In the long view, it may be better for the party, and for America, to have her in a leadership position among senior opinion makers on the right, than to have her create a schism on our side by standing out.

There's no doubt whatsoever that she's the headliner of this tour, despite what the inflated egos surrounding her may think of themselves.

By the time this re-branding tour is over, Sarah will have cemented her rightful place as the chief standard bearer of the patriotic right, and will have focused our side on core conservative principles again.

While she's at it, she may unavoidably expose many of her fellow opinion leaders as the milquetoast RINOs they are.

Rush said it and you have a point on response to his.
Time is ripe for real Americans to take back their country. Sarah Palin is one of them and the entitled politicians and media hate her and her position with the American people.

May God bring forth more real Americans to represent its people.

Jeb Bush (FL) and Mitt Romney

I could care less what those two A-holes think. They’re both wannabes that would turn on their own mothers.

Following those two will get us 24 more years of Obama.

Sarah is the only presidential electable woman in America. Conservatives have to hammer this into the democrats, just as they did with the smartest woman in America.

Thanks for posting this.

Rush has defended Sarah from day one - from the moment McCain picked her as his VP.  On the day McCain picked Palin as a running mate, Rush said he considered her among a handful of brilliant, young conservatives on the scene, and that it was good that McCain had picked the governor from Alaska. Levin and Hannity also defend Sarah as a true conservative leader.

I'm glad that my support for Sarah is in good company, with the likes of Rush, Hannity, and Levin.

Y’know what? It would almost be better if she were a plain jane, or even homely. It appears that beautiful women still are given no credibility in America in spite of feminism’s alleged support for all women to succeed. Her ideas still would be challenged, but only her ideas and not the whole package.

Her public speaking abilities are incredible (can you even IMAGINE her relying on a TelePrompter?), and when that is added to her conservative ideas, she’s just amazing. As far as I can see, she’s our only chance for America’s future, unless someone better comes along soon.

I have a feeling that God has stepped back from America because our country has turned against Him.

Those of us who remain on His side and know He was the author of our liberty and prosperity can still turn to Him for comfort and what protection we need; but if my feeling is correct, then a reckoning is coming and the judgment can have fallout that affects all of us.

When I flip through the television channels I see wall to wall Sodom and Gomorrah, and I don’t know how long our Lord will tolerate all this evil. We as a nation were given a great blessing and we have not done enough to preserve it nor shown enough gratitude to God.

I believe we are obligated to try to reverse this avalanche toward atheistic socialism, so I am grateful to those who are out there working to inform the American electorate and getting us media outlets for our message. Me, I am worn out and having trouble just doing my small chores.

Maybe some inspiration for what I can do will come.

Meanwhile, expect troublesome rain and global cooling.
