this is about just marriage as the media and homos would have some believe.
It is about an agenda, which means if they get ,marriage they get adoption, then they get it taught in schools, like MA has become.

One only has t look at MA to see how messed up that state has become and I only hope the people get to vote there one day on this.

The homos used MA for a stepping stone a base from where they can spread their agenda.
They got so scared when they thought the people were going to vote that the big guns of the Dem party came in, back room deals were made, or basically bribes were made.
A legislature in Framingham voted yes to a vote the first time and was going to vote yes again but Patrick went o have a word and within a few hours of the vote she changed her mind.
Weeks later she received a large sum of money for her district

They said they wanted civil unions but it was not what they wanted really, and they will never stop either until they have made people in this country give up like a poster on here who would never vote against homo marriage.

The Latin Church does use that form. I am not a Roman Catholic, I am Orthodox. We don’t use any vows at all in the Marriage Sacrament.

that is why homos are trying to get law passed where homosexuality is taught in school without parents knowing , how about how an adoption agency was closed down because two queers decided to try and get a kid from a place where they knew they could never get a kid.

Actually, Marion Barry was the lone vote against it. It’s enough to make one wonder. Actually, he was probably responding to the strong voice against it of the black ministers.

I don’t have a copy to look at, but isn’t there something about full faith a credit in the Constitution that requires jurisdictions to recognize marriages performed in other states?

I think that the way it works in Congress is that they have to vote against it. If they don’t vote, then in a certain amount of time it becomes law. Sorry to rain on your parade.

Then again the various states don’t necessarily honor other states medical, legal, engineering and architectural licenses. Didn’t know what CCW meant, so I Googled it and found this very useful site about reciprocity among the states for Conceal and Carry Weapons:

They're in a big rush to recognize fag marriage, that isn’t spelled out any where in the bill of rights, but they won't recognize the right to keep and bear arms that is specifically spelled out in the Bill of Rights.
I'll recognize fag marriage when Washington DC recognizes my carry permit.

Congress is in charge of DC. I say let them go full steam ahead with gay “marriage”, disarmament, Huge tax rates, no representation and all the other fun things that come with living in a liberal hell hole. Over time the productive people will leave. The families that have children will leave. The people tired of unchecked crime will leave. The tax base will implode and go into a death spiral. I hate to see an American city spiral into the sea, but history is a real good indicator.
