Thank you for the compliment. My apologies for my part in “hijacking” the thread. :) I have yet to read “Darwin’s Black Box”. It’s now “on my list”. Thanks!

LOL — I love your explanation. Way easier than my essay down-thread! LOL I have to admit I was trying to work the whole “saw the ape and his abilities, and wanted to incorporate that into humans” into what I was writing, but didn’t find a good spot! LOL
And, yeah, I’d bet Eve was a very beautiful woman! :)

I hope OH4life was not banned based purely on what he/she said on this thread because I don’t disagree with any of those comments. If it was regarding comments revealing his/religious beliefs didn’t Jim Robinson just post a statement to the effect that he doesn’t care what religion members believe in. Please elaborate.

The claim that Darwinists DON’T claim that man evolved from ape is a copout as well.
The name Australopithecus (the “common ancestor”) means southern ape”.
Yes, Darwinism does claim that man evolved from ape. So why do they deny it?

Just tell those Chrissie Matthew, Overbitherman types to pay their full share of Federal and State income taxes. That’s what I will yell at them, if I ever see them at an airport , or wherever.

I don’t think that will work well.

Excellent point!
It’s like everything else they lie about...from evolution being somehow completely unattached from origins to anything anti-darwin-cult equates to being anti-science, to “peer review” to settled “science” to this; I suppose even they believe if they repeat the lies to themselves often enough...
and well, it worked pretty well on them after all in NEA govt schools.
Oblivious cultists.

My guess is lying about creationists on a pro-Christian, pro-conservative website is a surefire way for a liberal to get banned.

Because liberalism is a mental disorder.

Sounds like an abuse of moderation; there's certainly nothing sanctionable from OH4life on this thread.
Relax!
It was just Natural Selection at work!

Natural Science
Oh I have studied science,
As I stare at my Christmas tree.
Part of it came from natures woods,
And part of it came from me.
Those tiny little needles,
The leaves of pine and scent,
Came up from the water in the ground,
And down from the sunlight spent.
From light and rain and precious air,
A weaving without machine,
Spun sugar twisted into wood,
An arcology in green.
As each to its own position,
The elements made their way,
From an inconspicuous speck of seed,
On an unknown dollop of clay.
And then a hand came calling,
Improving what was there,
To move the tree, and place it,
In dry, well-heated air.
Adorned with colorful trinkets,
Bestrung with wires and lights,
To decorate what was so plain,
Creating more decorous sights.
Were celebrating nature,
And the place of man to it,
This is the branch we belong to,
Just after the twentieth split.
Well up from the base beginnings,
Quite close to the top of the tree,
Thats where youll find Ive made my mark,
Its the brightly glittering me.
Oh smell the fragrance drifting out,
Enjoy the twinkle and glow,
Of a natural occurrence.
Its science dont you know?

If Evolution was indeed settled science then it would no longer be officially called the THEORY of Evolution, and would instead be official considered the LAW of Evolution.
It's as unsettled as all those other tenuous theories, like the Theory of Gravity, the Theory of Special Relativity, the Theory of General Relativity, the Theory of Quantum Mechanics, the Theory of Atoms and the Theory of Electromagnetism.
In other words, it makes testable, verifiable, repeatable predictions about what we see and will see in the physical sciences. Unlike, for example, so-called Creation Science.

Actually, it looks like we have a loser, just like all evos.... This account has been banned or suspended.
LOL-ROTF!
I noticed a few of the usual closet liberals yammering him on, got really really quiet. LOL
Yep.
Kudos to the AdminModerator for spotting an obvious troll who wants to water down the true conservatism and love of God this site stands for.
You're right, metmom - this goes to show that evos are losers. If they get this kind of reception among real, rock-ribbed Americans on the premiere conservative website in the USA, you have to wonder how things pander for their loser views (and often wasted "careers") in the real world. Stinks for them, too, considering the number of great minds who regularly read and post on this FreeRepublic.
You can bet dollars to doughnuts that no one doing any real science actually listens to their hippy-dippy nonsense, like "we came from apes who decided to walk upright" and "we can measure how old the earth is with a Geiger counter" and "the universe just decided to go BOOM and appear", and so on and so on and so on. That's not the kind of science that actually gets stuff done, and they know it.
As the site owner, Jim Robinson, has expressed, if we can pick and choose from the Word of God, then we can pick and choose from the Constitution, as well. If you don't believe the whole Constitution as it literally stands, you're no conservative. The same applies to the Creation - if you don't believe it as it literally stands, you're no conservative, and you don't belong here.
Watered-down conservatism will never prevail - the pretenders and RINOs need to go, and the precedent has (thankfully) been set here! Only then, by appealing to true, undiluted conservatives, can FreeRepublic fire up the base and get the votes to put conservatives back in charge of our once great nation.

"Sir or Madam, are you an ape? Are you a great ape? Answer this question directly, yes or no." Suppose they answer:
"Well of course not, but I think you're asking about evolution. I agree with Pope Benedict that there is no confict between evolution and religion."
What do you ask as a follow up?
