Removing the ACORN from the American Oak

There are many posts of FR, as well as many news articles about ACORN, George Soros and Obama that already lay out the ties I will in this post. Yet, I knew little about it until I really started looking in to it. We have experienced a coup and we remain asleep. America did not speak. The financial meltdown was orchestrated to perfection, the election was stolen using ACORN and the MSM silenced through intimidation...All by George Soros.

Our country HAS BEEN STOLEN.

I post this, as well as the synopsis below, only because I never gave it the attention it deserved when educated FReepers posted threads which talked about Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, the Cloward-Piven Strategy, Soros and others. I guess I thought they were just ancillary factors above my pay grade as a normal citizen and never considered they were the DRIVING force behind the coup of our country. Actually, I never knew there was a coup. I felt we were playing politics as usual and had hopes the waters would equalize and we would gain back some power in 2010 and 2012.

I now realize there really may not be a 2010 or 2012 opportunity. I wanted to post a brief synopsis and ask for anyone who feels they have not given it the time before, take the time and go research for yourself. I did not include many links, but will be grateful to put those up for anyone looking for verification on anything posted. DO NOT BE LIKE ME…this is real and is tearing our Constitution to shreds.

Although it is a very simple synopsis, I am emailing it to everyone I know and did not want to go into overload initially. I do hope the most recent clarion call against ACORN in PA and NV does not go unheeded, but I am concerned. I want people to know. Experienced and knowledgeable FReepers will correct anything if wrong, and I hope for a discussion on how we can keep this alive and in the public’s mind…even with a silent MSM.

Here is a synopsis going back to the 60’s:

Radical groups of the 1960s, born on college campuses throughout the country, morphed into two main groups – Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and The National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO). You should know that William Ayers split from SDS in 1969 to go his own explosive route, often times partnering with the Black Liberation Army.

George Wiley, founder of the NWRO was hand selected by two political scientists from Columbia University, bent on overthrowing the government, and was given the Cloward-Piven Strategy to try out. This strategy called for the use of minorities in the tens of thousands to seek and enter into the welfare roles, the results of which would surely crash the establishment. Wiley put it to use wonderfully and while it slowed the establishment, it did not crash it as hoped. As a result, in 1970, George Wiley sent Wade Rathke, one of his Lieutenants, to Little Rock to start the Arkansas Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN (the A changed from Arkansas to Association later).

In 1977, our buddy Carter signed the Community Reinvestigation Act (CRA) into law. Throughout the 70’s and 80’s, ACORN spends a great deal of their pushing impoverished welfare recipients into the system and going after the government for “redlining”, or oversight of lenders not approving loans due to race. But in 1991, they really made a name for themselves when they took over the House Banking Committee room for two days to protest efforts to scale back the CRA and they won.

Enter Obama…

In the 80s, Obama was the lead organizer of the Developing Communities Project, a campaign funded by Chicago’s south-side Catholic churches and formed on the organizing principles of Saul Alinsky. He spent another four years building an organization in Roseland and the nearby Altgeld Gardens public housing complex.

Then, in 1992, Obama shows up at ACORN. Today, and throughout the election, Zer0 claims to have no affiliation or involvement with ACORN, but a quote from Tony Foulks, a Chicago ACORN organizer taken from the Winter 2003 Social Policy Magazine (btw, Editor in Chief - Rathke) in which she writes:

“Obama started building the base years before. For instance, ACORN noticed him when he was organizing on the far south side of the city with the Developing Communities Project. He was a very good organizer. When he returned from law school, we asked him to help us with a lawsuit to challenge the state of Illinois’ refusal to abide by the National Voting Rights Act, also known as motor voter. Allied only with the state of Mississippi, Illinois had been refusing to allow mass-based voter registration according to the new law. Obama took the case, known as ACORN vs. Edgar (the name of the Republican governor at the time) and we won. Obama then went on to run a voter registration project with Project VOTE in 1992 that made it possible for Carol Moseley Braun to win the Senate that year. Project VOTE delivered 50,000 newly registered voters in that campaign (ACORN delivered about 5000 of them)

Since then, we have invited Obama to our leadership training sessions to run the session on power every year, and, as a result, many of our newly developing leaders got to know him before he ever ran for office. Thus, it was natural for many of us to be active volunteers in his first campaign for State Senate and then his failed bid for U.S. Congress in 1996. By the time he ran for U.S. Senate, we were old friends. And along about early March, we started to see that the African-American community had made its move: when Sen. Obama’s name was mentioned at our Southside Summit meeting with 700 people in attendance from three southside communities, the crowd went crazy. With about a week to go before the election, it was very clear how the African-American community would vote. But would they vote in high enough numbers”?

Notes on ACORN:

Wade Rathke, Founder of ACORN, remains the Chief Organizer until 2008 when he steps down for hiding the 2000 embezzlement of ACORN funds by his brother Dale Rathke. Although he stepped down, he remains as the Chief ACORN International Organizer and is the founder and current Chief Organizer of the SEIU Local 100. The SEIU local 100 and 800 are affiliates of ACORN. Wade is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Social Policy, a quarterly magazine for scholars and activists.

Enter George Soros…

Without going into great detail, in 2003 George Soros, a staunch hater of Bush and the Republic party, and looking for entire regime change, tells the Washington Post that he has created the “Shadow Party” and that the country under Bush was in danger. The Shadow Party was a result of a meeting of many left wing-nuts (All powerful) at Soros’ Southampton residence, where analysts informed Soros that George Bush could be beaten in the upcoming election. What he did not announce publicly was that he was going for one of his noted regime changes, which he has successfully carried out in other countries. When Soros targets a country for "regime change," he begins by creating a shadow government -- a fully formed government-in-exile, ready to assume power when the opportunity arises.

The Shadow Party he built in America greatly resembles those he has created in other countries prior to instigating a coup. proposed massive get-out-the-vote drives among likely Democrat voters in seventeen “swing” or “battleground” states: Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington.

Although that coup did not happen, he was not going to give up.

Obama had made great friends with Wade Rathke, ACORN and the SEIU. Rathke, as well had made great friends with George Soros and has ties with or sits on the boards of a number of boards for Soros controlled foundations, such as Democracy Alliance and the Tide’s Center. Who else sits on that board at the Tide Center? Maya Wiley, daughter of George Wiley, founder of the NWRO, first player with the Cloward-Piven Strategy and honestly, the real founder of ACORN.

Soros' ties to Obama date back to 2004, when he hosted a fundraiser for Obama during the 2004 campaign for the U.S. Senate. In December of 2006, as Obama contemplated making a run for the presidency in 2008, Soros met in his New York office with the Illinois senator. Obama had become a favorite of ACORN since 1996 and was served up to Soros by Rathke as the perfect poster boy, with his deep indoctrination in Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and his ties to the perfect mechanism for voter fraud; ACORN. After that, using his connections through the high level members of his Shadow Party, tightening his grip on the majority of the MSM was a simple matter.

Everything was in place – including the Financial Meltdown. This topic deserves it’s own forum, but anyone thinking Soros did not cause this, is just not paying attention. He is, after all, known as the Man Who Broke the Bank and has caused the same style ruckus in EU markets in the past. Is he not?

It would be more germane to remark upon removing ACORN from the government teat; they’ve been extensively funded by Obama as kickback for helping him win the election.
