WASHINGTON (AP) - The White House is keeping its distance from an entertainer's joke comparing commentator Rush Limbaugh to a terrorist.
Presidential spokesman Robert Gibbs on Monday was asked for President Barack Obama's reaction to the joke by comic actress Wanda Sykes at Saturday's White House Correspondents' Association dinner. Obama took part in the event.
Sykes jabbed at Limbaugh for suggesting that he wants Obama to fail.

You and I both know that if this had taken place under Bush, Congressional Democrats would have been talking impeachment.
It was chilling to see those New Yorkers running as if under another attack.
I couldn’t help but think this was one of the most inconsiderate Presidential actions in my lifetime.
Stupid is the first word that comes to mind, but it isn’t fitting. Recklessly abusive is more like it.
It’s one more action that reaches the level of a ten year old’s mentality, and goes no further. I am certain, that when all is known about this incident, it will be even more chilling than it already is.
I saw Padma on the video laughing uproariously. The strange thing is, she is married to Salman Rushdie who was marked for assassination by our muslim enemies.
Any chance that this is an AF jet getting ready to shoot . . . . oh, never mind. I am on a bunch of government hit lists already.
Rush Limbaugh who has criticized all terrorists uniformly throughout his career, or
Barack Obama who describes terrorist Bill Ayers as "mainstream" and refuses to call those who cause "man-caused disasters" by their appropriate title of "terrorists", although he will call Christians, NRA members, and our military "potential terrorists"?
We already SAW he reaction! Too late to distace yourself from your reaction. IMHO both he and Wanda both need to apologize to everyone suffering from renal failure because it isn’t a joke.

Remember when liberals got all bent out of shape at Bush’s last Correspondent’s Dinner when he aired that little flim clip about looking for WMD under furniture. They were angry that Bush belittled such a serious endeavor.
