I can live with that. Christ, who Israel rejects, will return to Earth and fight for Israel.

So, here's the money question guys. Is God going to fight the worlds armies so that Israel will be a Christian nation?

Ok. The nations of the world will acknowledge the God of Israel. The nations of the world will become Jewish and Israel will become Christian.

You must not have heard of the rapture.

More than anything else it was the glue of the Christian Right, which even someone as jaded as yourself will have to admit was a cornerstone of the defeat of the USSR. That in itself was pretty apocalyptic, as things go.

You're basically correct, if you are referring to the "Pre-Tribulation" rapture...that view did not gain popularity until around 1830.

However, there WILL be a "rapture" of the saints at the time of the first resurrection, which occurs at the return of Jesus. That's the day when He opens up a giant can of "whoop-ass" on the rebels who have rejected the Truth.

Go ahead & scoff if you want to. The handwriting is on the wall, and the momentum is there. No more U.S. intervention to stop the flood-tide of hatred. The angry mob always drowns out the voices of reason in the minority. History has shown that, just look at 1930's-1940's Germany.
