Sarah Palin Haters Livid at Juneau Tourism and Little Piper's Lemonade Stand
Newsbusters ^ | May 11, 2009 | Warner Todd Huston

Tourism has recently been up a little in Juneau, Alaska. More folks than ever have been interested in taking bus tours through Alaska's capital city with a major attraction being the Alaska State House where Governor Sarah Palin goes about her daily work.

The bus tours are so popular that adorable little Piper has even set up a lemonade stand to sell tourists a glass of lemony goodness to quench their thirst.

And Palin haters in Alaska are livid. They want the bus tours stopped and little Piper's stand razed to the ground. Palin Derangement Syndrome (PDS) strikes again. It's an ugly, ugly thing, this PDS and one man in particular is leading the charge but curiously enough his long past of agitation and his criminal record don't quite seem to be making any of the stories in the Old Media.

Theodore "Chip" Thoma that has cavorted about the city erecting crude, hand-made signs shouting that the bus tours should be stopped. He is a vocal opponent of Governor Palin.

Thoma has a few criminal convictions for drunken driving as well as one for possession of cocaine.

Just like a socialist to want to stop a capitalist lemon aide stand. Some good Alaskan men should act as guards.

We’re talking about going on another Alaskan cruise, and my daughters want to see Sarah Palin. They would be ecstatic over buying lemonade from Piper.

If we do go, I know we’ll be going by Palin’s house in Juneau.

Piper Palin, possibly the cutest name ever.

She'll be the second Palin Presidency, 2048 or shortly after.

I would work like a dog to elect Sarah Palin. I’ve worked on many campaigns over nearly 35 years, but she’s one candidate I would put my entire life on hold for . . .

Run, Sarah, run!

I am sure Father Todd has it covered. Woe to anyone who would try to touch a single strand of hair on that little angel.

From right, Piper Palin, 8, the daughter of Gov. Sarah Palin, and Natalie Cosgrove, 8, sell lemonade to Andrea Watts and her mother, Pam, in front of the Governor's Mansion on Sunday. Other items for sale included diet ice tea and banana bread. Small boxes of raisins were free. (Al Grillo/AP)

I want to go visit Alaska too..I am familiar with those cruises, but they only give you a day to visit a certain area right..or is it better to just take a plane to Alaska and visit all the sights. Alaska is such a beautiful place to live, I am excited to one day going there and my dream is to meet Sarah Palin, I admire her so much. I would walk over hot coals to get her elected. I would campaign for her, raise money for her, whatever it took.

"Chip Thoma should be arrested before he hurts the little girl."

Thoma should be removed from the area and released in some remote part of Alaska.

I can't imagine Todd Palin's level of restraint. It would be hard enough living with his wife's enemies' antics, but NOBODY should mess with his kids.

"I am scared at what I am becoming. I am so filled with hate these days."

Don't let yourself do it!

If you give in to the hate, you descend to their level.

Pity is good; you can pity them.
Loathing is OK too, as is good clean honest revulsion!

But don't become a hater, like the liberals are.

I’m remembering that picture of Sarah and Piper with the moose. Some “artist” in NYC was using the picture as a target board. He/she furnished a rifle and offered, for a price, to take pictures of Palin haters shooting at the “target”. That was fun, funny stuff for the Left.

If Palin haters would consider “shooting” at a picture of a little girl and her mother to be fun or funny, why wouldn’t they try to destroy the innocent pleasure of that little girl and the tourists who stopped by her refreshement stand?

Needs to be “lead pipe dent in the head” Thoma...

This guy sincerely makes me wish I had the time and money to travel to Alaska. That and the rest of my life to spend in prison. Something I would gladly do to remove one such as him from this Earth.

Sarah Palin is an ordinary American who happens to have become a politician.

Any attack on her or her family is an attack on each of us.

The time for action is NOW. Sarah is on the move.Support he by joining her PAC. The left is scared to death of her and for good reason. She can defeat Obama by invigorating our demoralized country and bring much needed light into the darkness now being created to subjugate America.

Do it NOW!

I lived in Juneau for 24 years before Palin was ever thought of. I worked a few blocks from the mansion. There have always been lines and lines of tourist vehicles passing that place and the foot traffic in the summer is shoulder to shoulder. This is nothing new for the area. This man is a Nut plain and simple.

The cruise is a blast!!! First, everything is taken care of for you. You never have to worry about food, where to stay, etc.

My favorite part of the cruise; however, is the Alaskan scenery. We had a room with a balcony, and I loved just watching the mountains go by. We saw a multitude of waterfalls and glaciers. We didn’t do Glacier Bay, we cruised the Endicott Arm, and the water turns this emerald green when you get up there, and all the icebergs floating around. Absolutely stunning!

I highly recommend an Alaskan cruise. It was my dream vacation. It was our favorite family vacation ever. My teenage kids loved being on the ship, and my husband and I loved everything.

Yes. She will need to prove she is paying social security taxes & carrying sufficient worker’s comp insurance. Her tax returns will be audited every year.

Piper is all charisma & a bit of a hambone when there are cameras around. She seems to be very much her mommey’s daughter.

When a grown man has to stoop to harassing a little girl, he has pretty serious issues that require professional care.
