Viewers doing a 180 on Anderson Cooper's '360'

Kay Jones, a producer on CNN's Anderson Cooper's "AC360," recently blogged on the show's website that she "deserve[s] the month of May off." Well, she might as well take it because Cooper's fan base is doing just that already.

Cooper's ratings have been in a sharp decline all year, and so far the month of May is no exception. According to Nielsen, the audience for the 10-11 p.m. hour of his show so far this month is 933,000 viewers. This is the first time he's fallen below the one-million mark since the dog days of last August. Anderson is losing almost 20% of his lead-in from Larry King and is in danger of being passed in the ratings by MSNBC's 10 p.m. repeat of "Countdown with Keith Olbermann." Since the start of 2009, Cooper has lost one-third of his audience.

CNN has invested heavily into marketing Cooper as the face of the network. The hype has never really translated into commercial success,

And most of his viewers are the captive audience at airports and other such places where the sets just run CNN.

He yucks it up with other kids, telling gross "tea-bagging" jokes.

Beavis and Butthead got cancelled too.

The peons in Flyover Country are not as easily fooled as super-gay Anderson Cooper and CNN believes.

Since the Coronation of the Obamination, no one can stomach the endless boring and deceitful CNN propaganda.

Of all the leftist nitwits talking about tea-bagging, it least we can know for sure that Anderson Cooper has experienced the true meaning of the term.

My vision of Hell, or at least Purgatory, is waiting forever for my delayed flight, unable to escape the horrific torture of loud CNN monitors all over the freeking airport.

He’s probably losing the Larry King lead-in because the audience thinks of him as their gay grandson. “He’s such a nice boy, but what a shame ...”

Welcome to my office coffee room.

I should sue my company for giving me stupidity poisoning everytime I need a cup.

Sounds like a "Twilight Zone" take-off on Jean-Paul Sartre's "No Exit". It starred John Astin and a bunch of people in a waiting room yakking away. That's what I think of when I fly.

Any corporate owned bar usually runs CNN rather than FOX, but go to a privately owned bar, and there is a strong chance you can find FOX.

Reporting this in the LA Times is certainly a classic example of the pot calling the kettle black.

Any bar that I would consider hanging out in would have a sporting event on between 10 & 11. In any case, I find Greta to be almost as annoying as Cooper anyway. I’d watch Fox News more often if they’d can her and give Laura Ingraham a chance in that time slot.

Heh...I actually didn't pay attn to the name until I was searching up "tea bagging" in the Urban Dictionary.

Ever stop to think that might be a leading indicator in audience quality?

The problem with this doll-like man and Rachel Madcow is that their audience WRITES the Urban Dictionary.

CNN is going the way of the NYSlimes.

The two stooges Blitzed and Cafferty are an embarrassment to the word ‘news’. The rest of the station is populated with ignorant losers who have nothing to offer.
