Seems you fit the collage kid mold better.
Make your posts reflect your thinking then maybe people won't respond to them incorrectly.
Again: He didn't have a drivers licence.
The article is about an accident.
Shouting "WHY DOES HE HAVE A LICENCE" makes people think you never read the article.
It that "bothers" you somehow, to bad. Now go away.
Ooooo, hope they work for your kiddies!
That would work, too, except for the seeing out part. Plus, my kid’s booster positions the shoulder belt closer to the top of the shoulder with a loop, which makes it more effective (less room for lateral movement or slip).
Who appointed you in charge of thread “correction”? I don’t recall asking for grammar suggestions in my post.
I invited no one to stick up for me - seems you handled that one all one your own.
I have been to college and out (with a Masters Degree) and two of my children are in graduate school now.
AGAIN - I don’t care what year it is, whether he HAD or HAS a drivers license - the fact is he did HAVE one at one point for it to get suspended. . That illegal should have never acquired a license in the first place if law enforcement was doing their job.
This isn’t about car seats or booster seats or seat belts, or my grammar. It’s about a four year old that will never see five because an illegal POS (with an impressive DUI record) killed her.
If that POS had been pitched over the fence (that should be there as well) that girl would be alive. If YOU can’t handle those facts maybe YOU should go away. What are you here for anyway, illegal POS cheerleading?
Poster boy for EFFECTIVE BORDER SECURITY.
No more revolving door!!

Like I said, that’s what the plastic is there for.
If the kid’s too old/big, don’t use it to carry them.
Regardless, the seats work.
WHEN USE PROPERLY (I think I said that already).
Removeable infant carriers (not really seats) have been proven safe and are certified.
They make clips for the straps.
When a child reaches a certain height/weight/age, you stop using the carrier and put them in the seat. Then, you use the clip to adjust the harness to the child.
The seat puts the child in a more optimal position than just putting a belt around them. Seats that aren’t “booster seats” have their own X-harness to hold the kid in.
I’ve never had a problem with my kids getting out of the X-harness or having it shift on them.
The booster seats, however, are another story.
Better than just a seat belt, but any kid big enough for that is big enough to squirm out of the belt.
The troll with the “collage” education revealed earlier in the thread that the reason he was insulting me was because I didn’t share his hatred for Terri Schiavo, for whom he had an even more vulgar insult.
I just did a quit review of some of your posts, and you appear to be a Christian. If you’re wondering why the nearly illiterate troll chose to “correct” your grammar, you probably don’t have to look any further than that.
Well, college boy needs to use spell check before he corrects others - “licence” has an “s” in there somewhere.
What you say is interesting, I was wondering what set him off.
And you are right, I am a believer.
I do not usually respond to blogs; but in this case I feel obligated. The fact that so many of the responses to the tragic death of a 4yr old girl are about grammar or insulting other bloggers is outrageous. What has happened to our society that instead of working together to ensure that this horrific accident never happens again we use the anonymity of the internet to not behave respectfully at all. One innocent child is dead. Her mom is going to have to live with that fact for the rest of her life.
