I will never support John McCain for any office ever. He may try and run again in 2012, but I guarantee you, he will never make it out of the primaries.

Unless the GOP does something to change the way primaries are currently run McCain might in fact ‘make it out’ of them. As it stands, RINOs, independents and Dems do more to pick our candidate than bona fide conservatives.

The question is not whether you or me or him thinks he's too old to run; the question is does the media think he's too old? Because they (the media) most certainly want him to run again, so he can lose again, so 0 gets another 4 years.

It’s sad. Ten years from now an older and wiser Meghan will probably look back on all her post-election blabbering and cringe.
I think she’s a wonderfully visible example of a RINO. She is the image in the mirror looking back at every RINO out there. She gives a name to their absurdity. Some of them may ultimately see themseles for what they are—vaccuous drones who’s only goal in life is to “get along”.
These are the same people who deplore business outsourcing decisions. But they outsource the rearing of their children to day care centers and schools. These are the same people who support killing the unborn—even the babies who survive the abortion procedure. These are the people who get apoplectic about waterboarding, but when Christians—including babies—are shot to death by practitioners of the “religion of peace (Islam)” ;there only response is an abyss of silence. These are the same people who decried Bush’s deficit. But they have no problem with the four times greater deficit racked up by The Marxist Onada in his first 100 days. These are the same people who think national health care is a good idea—even though the politiians responsible for it cannot manage their own budget. And it has failed where ever it’s been tried. These are the people who seem to be unconcerned about The Messiah driving us to communism—even though it’s failed where ever its been tried. These are the same people—many of them Christians and Jews—who enthusiastically support religious suppression under the false flag of “separation of church and state”.
I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
I don’t know what it would take to get Steele’s/the GOP’s attention. Frankly, I get the impression they like the current system, since much of the GOP leadership prefers ‘moderation’ to conservativism. As far as McCain being old goes, that misses the point. Unless the primaries are changed, we will get somebody just like him, so what’s the difference?
Some folks get old and wise. Some folks just get old.
McCain was the only top tier candidate of either party who couldn't win at least 50% of the 2008 primary vote in his/her home state. The MSM may be setting the table for McCain to run as an independent if he gets knocked off in the primary. No matter what the MSM does, they won't be able to convince the GOP to nominate McCain again at age 76 in 2012 after losing to Obama by 9 million votes.

I don’t think her Nana “talked smack”.....She said Limbaugh didn’t belong in the same Republican party as she does. This is true. Limbaugh is a CONSERVATIVE. The McCain’s are elitist Washington insider cocktail party RINO Republican. The party needs to trend back towards Limbaugh/Regan Conservatism!!
