US' own Hitler Youth- Daily Kos
In todays NYT, there is an article about the boy scouts explorer program which takes scouts (boys and girls) between 14 and 18 and trains them in so called law enforcement activities.This proram now has over 35,000 members and semms to be concentrated in the border areas.
My immediate reaction on reading the article was to think of the Hitler Youth movement in Germany of the thirties, and to this end I checked into Wiki and compared the two groups.

I believe that Hitler was also afraid of our Boy Scouts, probably because of what he was trying to do with German youth for his own warped worldview. I think this should make us suspicious of what Kos has in mind... These fears tell us much more about the mind of the fearer than the feared.

Hitler disbanded the boy scouts and forced all scout members to join the Hitler Youth. This shows you how much the left lies, and how little attention they pay to history. This is all about the Scouts being against queer scoutmasters.
The Russians make similar accusations in the mid-80’s. Radio Moscow stated that the Girl Scouts were prostitutes going rom door to door to raise money for the American War Machine.

Daily Kos and the NYT represent an arm of Barry’s brownshirt legion. Furthermore, I find it ironic that they want to berate the Boy Scouts and ignore Barry’s attempts at brownshirt indoctrination. Typical of the far left; how quaint. Not.
Remember all of this is based on the Boy scouts ban on openly gay scout leaders. If that policy ever changes, then they will love the Boy Scouts and everything they do. All will be forgiven if they ever go PC.
But I’d likely wager that Kos has no problem with those little kids chanting, “Alpha, Omega” for Obama...

Here is a hint, Kooks ... when an organization pops up that does the bidding of the government, and includes children singing songs to their Dear Leader, pledging oaths to that leader, and organizing voters and the census, then you can start the real comparisons to Hitler Youth.
No surprise that readers of the Daily Kos share the twisted worldview of those two states. Same goals as well.
But I'm not personally insulted by your infantile remarks. If anything, I pity you all. You won the Presidential Election, you control both Houses of Congress, polls suggest that your golden-calf-god is loved universally both here & around the world.

One of my Parish priests grew up on Van Gogh street in Amsterdam. One day he went to his Boy Scout troop meeting with his father and the Hitler Youth had taken over and told him there were no more Boy Scouts. They just turned around and went home. He was friends with Anne Frank.

I think the Daily Kos is suffering from a Psychological disorder — “Eagle Envy.”
If you take a look at the origins of Scouting and it's British founder Robert Baden-Powell, the Scouts were founded to train boys in preparation for military service, specifically in the skills needed for military scouting (ie, reconnaissance).
I was just an Explorer, but my son made Eagle Scout two years ago and he and I learned a ton on the hikes.
The troop is where I learned how to ski on one of their ski trips.
My son learned tremendous leadership skills and how to shoot rifles, pistols, etc., and how to survive in the wilderness, year round, even in below-freezing weather, without shelter.
The Boy Scouts are one of the greatest organizations ever.
These filthy creep liberals hate it because they hate God and anything good.
They are evil incarnate.
