CHICAGO (AP) - A spokeswoman says a son of the late Robert F. Kennedy is seriously considering a run for the U.S. Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama.

Spokeswoman Kasey Madden didn't say Wednesday when Chicago businessman Chris Kennedy would make an announcement.

The seat Kennedy is interested in is now held by Sen. Roland Burris, who was appointed by ousted former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Is the Kennedy Clan running out of dough? Crooked politics is the easiest way to raise a lot of money fast.

No, no. Not correct. They know how to drink, run for office and spend OUR money.

There you go!

Well the Democrats have to do something. Burris is a disaster waiting to happen, but running someone against him in the primary will alienate a significant percentage of the black base. A Kennedy might be a big enough draw to overcome that. Chris Kennedy’s lived in the area for 20 years or so, runs the Merchanise Mart for the family business, and can escape any carpetbagger labels.

He's lived in Illinois for about 20 years.

I heard on the radio that he was encouraged to run by Bill Daley, which means he must be Mayor Daley’s candidate. Which means he’ll be the next Senator from Illinois. And who knows — maybe he’ll run for president in ‘16?

I like Illinois, but it really is a loathesome place politically.

Kennedys:

Can’t Drive
Can’t Fly
Can’t Ski
Can’t Skipper a Boat

Yet they “know” what’s best for us.

I can’t think of another Family that has caused more harm to the US than the Kennedys. Liberals love them, yet they represent everything liberals claim to hate:

privileged birth
elitists
using power and influence to cover up corruption
and they are all white!!
