Deceiver-in-chief (Obama) darts left, right, dizzies all

If Ronald Reagan was the Great Communicator, Barack Obama is the Great Deceiver. Time and again, from the beginning of his presidential campaign until today, Obama has taken a strong stand on an issue only to reverse himself.

Obama has more power than any modern president to enact his agenda. His party has control of the House of Representatives and an almost-filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. And yet, he chooses to disregard his promises.

The contrast between Obama and his predecessor is stark. President George W. Bush promised to deliver an across-the-board tax cut, education reform and prescription drugs for seniors. He doggedly pursued these objectives and used his Republican majority to hammer through legislation.

Even when he faced long political odds because of opposition from his own party, he poured resources and personal effort into doomed attempts to deliver on campaign promises such as reforming social security. Does anyone, even Obama, now remember what he promised during the campaign?

Former president Bush was at the very least “non-slick” enough to NOT be caught in some or other conspirancy.

The current POTUS, although having the help of the MSM, is still caught in much the same trap, and to those that woud say the ideoligy is different - I only give half a pass.

And it is absolutly fair. The current POTUS is having a very hard time, which I admit makes me feel very good, since I reject Obamas ideolgy, I also wish to bring up the fact that I’m very very interested in the ideoligy behind his SCOTUS pick, If I feel dissed by the Rep minority, That they would not venomently refuse every Obama SCOTUS pick, well, then that has connotations for a dismall future of a nation 2016 and beyond.

He’s flip-flopped so many times I can’t keep track of his positions. Everybody said John Kerry was a flip-flopper. He could sit down and take notes from Barry.
