you get relief soon!

So relieved to hear that your brother is doing well. God be praised!

We got rain!!!!! See? You fuss about it, and we welcome it! LOL! It’s all perspective! We got more than 1/2 inch, and that is good for us! Yay!! The rain soothes me.

Great thread, Kathy....and what a wonderful tribute to an
honorable navy man and president to have a ship named after him. I’ll bet his family is so proud!

No, ma’am, but we get the keys to our house tomorrow! Still a lot of work until it’s ready for us to move in, but it’s a start.

Howdy.
One thing Maine never has a shortage of, is water..
I’m not fussin’ about it.
It’s just that the damp gets to me old bones.

But one of the “place” medals would mean much more to me. I guess I’ll have to log on a bit sooner next time. :)

If we were more willing to exercise this particular type of “diplomacy,” perhaps Li’l Kim and Ahmanutjob would take the US more seriously.

A good day. Work was steady but nicely paced, went to a “Hail and Farewell” for one of the crew, some sprinkles off-n-on (just enough to mess up the Windshield) and talked to DC on the phone (she called me) just because. Good Day.

New to us, but it is our first. The house is actually about 50 years old, but quite well built; most of what it needs is cosmetic (well, other than being fumigated for termites).
