hubby and i did the opposite. we told everyone we knew to vote for hillary as we did because we could not stomach the idea that the arrogant jerk with the big ears would win the IN primary. he did not win it, but it was close.

Hahahahaha...hots home...my 11 yo son has a test on State Capitals and we are studying...I am amazed at how much I forgot about cities and states...not good...I had to tell him to ask his teacher how to spell Albuquerque. I can only hope that floored her!

First, the phrase “moderate Conservative” is a paradox — an oxymoron (and so are you — the writer of the column I mean).

Second, it’s a little late to say, “now I know.” Thanks to you and those like you, we are watching our nation perverted into some sort of Socialist/Statist Oligarchy.

Third, you’ve heard the old saying, “better late than never?” In your case, it doesn’t apply.

School House Rock has some great materials that help students learn by singing along with CDs. My students learned the Preamble and the fifty state in third grade and could still “sing” them when they were in high school in US History Class. I think they have one on state capitols. Their Multiplication Rock is great!

A few years back a friend and I were stopped in traffic by some construction. It was Oct 31 and my friend commented about the flagger getting in the spirit and wearing a mask. We pulled up next to him, stopped the car and I turned to him for directions......Trying not to laugh, I turned to friend and shrieked,”It's not a mask.” ...........

I work with a bunch of die-hard, life long Democrats who wouldn’t vote for Obama last November. Many’s the time I would hear the words “I voted Democrat my whole life and this is the first time I will ever vote for a Republican.”
