NAIROBI, Kenya – Africa contributes little to global warming but suffers disproportionately from its effects, the continent's environment ministers said Friday, calling for more money and support from rich nations ahead of a landmark climate conference.

The ministers, meeting in Nairobi, said they will ask for funding from rich nations at December's U.N. conference in Copenhagen of 190 countries.

They did not give a figure, but the U.N. says Africa needs at least $1 billion a year to manage the effects of climate change such as sinking islands, changing farming techniques and even relocating people from areas affected by extreme weather.

It’s easier to play along with the hoax, ask for a handout, than it is to produce DDT.

Since DDT was banned by EPA fiat in 1972, after losing the court case to try and prove harm, nearly 35 million African children under the age of five have died of the heinous disease malaria. Millions worldwide suffer from malaria sickness each year.

All because of another liberal fraud, Rachael Carson.

Did you know that WHO tried for over 30 years to prove DDT caused something bad and failed. In 2006 WHO allowed the use of DDT after having found nothing harmful, except it kills malaria carrying mosquito.

So what does more harm, the global warning nonsense or the very real DDT ban?

When the melting glaciers flood the Sahara and create a massive verdant wonderland, we'll send you the bill for a few trillion.

In the meantime, get a job.

Maybe we should allow Africans to use their coal reserves for a power plant or two. The progressives have all joined together at the hip to prevent any electric power generation for the masses in Africa.

So we’ll just have an 11% VAT, vice 10%, and send the additional 1% to Africa. It’s all for the common good because spreading the wealth around is good for everyone. /sarc
