Kansas Abortionist George Tiller was shot today as he was going to Church.

Amen Doug. This does nothing to help the unborn.
Finally! An honest answer.
“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” (John Kennedy, 1962 White House speech)
The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.
Today, it was George Tiller’s turn for “taketh away”.
God is good, and I say “good for God”.
The church where he was shot, the Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita,, is ELCA, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
This is the totally liberal synod among Lutheran synods.
It promotes the homosexual agenda in every aspect. It supports most forms of abortion. It is the antithesis of the conserverative LCMS, the Missouri Synod of which I'm thankfully a born and baptized member.
I have no doubt he was attending church for show. He picked this liberal church to attend because he knew it wouldn't throw him on his rear because of his evil practice.

On the contrary, nowhere do I see Christ saying that we should be praying for dead people and especially Satan.
Redemption is for man, not demons.

university tags sounds rather leftish to me on first glance...same with the powder blue color...but those are both VAST generalizations...the smell test needs a few more sniffs...
Police said they are looking for white male who was driving a 1990s powder blue Ford Taurus with Kansas license plate 225 BAB. The vehicle is registered to an owner in Merriam, which is in the Kansas City area.

Some individual nutjob doesn’t mean the whole “right wing” party agrees with with what this guy did.
The tragedy is also that an abortionist is looked up to as a hero, and a baby as the enemy.
The tragedy is that a man with the capability to help society with his talents instead chose to use those talents and abilities to harm those who could not defend themselves. Therein lies the tragedy. It is not in his death but in the choices he made in life.
His life’s work could have been making the sick well and making life better for others.
I see no "sympathy" on this thread. It's a question of having an abortionist doctors head splattered across the steps of a church help the cause of Pro-Lifers......IMHO, it does not.
And, don't forget this act will give validity in the eyes of the media and Democrats for the recent Justice Department proclamation that pro-life groups and individuals are potential terrorists. What laws will be proposed now to eliminate the freedom of pro-lifers now that this act has occurred?
It takes place before the war breaks out.
The movie is Man Hunt (1941) -- the link is to an imdb.com Internet page.
Walter Pidgeon stars as Captain Alan Thorndike, a big game hunter. He takes on the challenge of "stalking" Hitler to see if he could kill him -- if he wanted to.
Then things get really interesting after that in his life, and he becomes a fugitive -- even though he never intended to "shoot Hitler"...
Not apologizing, but letting them know that murder is murder and the pro-life movement does not approve of this any more than the murder of babies.
But I will not shed any tears. There will be babies who will not die this week, or hopefully ever, because of this.
Okay, from your view:
1. Unborn baby in womb = any human born
2. Abortion = murder
Let me ask you this now:
If you knew someone was going to the local park to murder masses of people, and there was no law against terminating the lives of people in the park, wouldn’t you still try to prevent it from happening? Even if it meant killing the person who is/was trying to kill innocent people in the park?
If so, why wouldn’t you stop an abortionist (which you already absolutely know kills “innocent babies”) at all costs?
If the perpetrator of this crime is pro-life and that's what motivated him to kill Tiller, then it's self-evident that some pro-lifers are, in fact, crazy and dangerous. The media doesn't have to lift a finger to make that point.
no, an inconvenience... says the little ^%#@%.
I’m LCMS born and raised as well. I cringe at the reputation the ELCA gives all the rest of us.
the soul is eternal and Satan was created by God.
Yes, an extremely liberal ELCA church. People should not think that all Lutheran churches would have an active, impenitent abortionist as a member in good standing. This Lutheran pastor (LCMS) would not.
WHO KILLED THE BASTARD???? Could be a JEALOUS HUSBAND!
Because the opportunity to repent is lost.
Further it's tragic because it helps the pro-abortionists politically. They need to string up the fool that did this.

WTF?
I don’t know if this has been mentioned, but I hope everyone will pray for the women that were scheduled to see Tiller next week.
Maybe their hearts can be softened in time.
Were I on the jury, though, I would vote to acquit. This man would have killed thousands more and whoever did this saved those lives.
Hank
Thanks for pointing that out Charles.
One of the hidden secrets of the pro-abortion movement is that even the most ardent supporters of abortion don’t really like abortionists that much.
They might be lavished with public praise when expedient and necessary, but privately they’re often regarded as vulgar hirelings. This is especially true within the medical profession, where abortionists are considered the lowest of the low, even by pro-abortion physicians, drawn from the ranks of the incompetent and the unstable.
Kathleen Sebelius and Barack Obama might have been happy to take George Tiller’s money and indulge him in some public flattery, but they probably didn’t respect the man at all.
Description of the shooter:
Wichita television station KAKE-TV reported that police were looking for a blue Ford Taurus with a K-State vanity plate, license number 225 BAB. Police described him as a white male in his 50s or 60s, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 220 pounds, wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
Obviously this person didn’t care about being caught, unless the car was stolen.
Senator Kyl brought up about another $38,000 in donations, and then Operation Rescue brought to light another $200,000 in donations...
It raised a big enough stink about these donations that some Republicans who might have voted to confirm Sebelius voted against her, and the Reid hurried up a vote on Sebelius because opposition was "rapidly growing"...
We have our opportunity here on earth.
Created beings not withstanding, Jesus died for mankind, not demons. There is no redemption offered for demons. Praying for that is NOT Scriptural.
That is worth repeating.
I'm not above thinking that his death could have been at the hands of a paid assassin of the left to further their agenda. It's also possible that the shooter could have been the mother, father, grandparent of one of those late-term babies butchered by Tiller. Then again, it could have simply been an insane individual who shot him.
I'm surprised nothing is known about the assailant, not even any info on where the shot(s) were fired from. If the shooter was street level with Tiller, certainly someone would have seen them. Sounds more like a sniper from an elevated position. They may never find them.
Sorry, but in this case you have it wrong. “Rejoice” might be the wrong word because the whole thing is tragic. But one man was killed so that thousands can be saved.
I can’t cry about that, one might well consider viewing it positively as “celebrating life.”
Hank
Thanks for saying that and articulating the dilemma faced by pro-lifers. Pro-life groups DO NOT plan violence against anyone, and the most activist that they get is laying down in prayer, blocking the door to a clinic (which even they recognize is a largely futile effort and are willing to go to jaiil for it).
On rare (very rare, statistically near zero over the time since Roe v. Wade) some takes the law into his own hands and gives up their life and freedom to stop what they see as a holocaust.
So are you a pacifist, killing others for the sake of good is always immoral, then all wars have to be considered 'evil' too.
It could be anyone...jealous husband etc.
Remember, there was a stink about Homeland Security profiling right wing pro-lifers...
I hope it is someone who does not belong "tightly" to any pro-life organizations...
Well it's certainly sparked some nasty snits on this thread.
It may not help the cause, but it may save lives.
Well, two things. A local attorney general was after him for concealing statutory rape by aborting minors without reporting on it, and other offenses. Tiller gave large sums to this AG’s Dem opponent, and threw him out of office. The Dem was subsequently accused of corruption and resigned.
He also gave hundreds of thousands to Sebelius, some of it under the table, and that helped him avoid convictions in this and other cases brought against him.
He was clearly in violation of Kansas law, but used campaign contributions to throw people out of office, and to support judges and politicians who favored him and bent the law for him.
But I sincerely hope it was enough. Forever is a long time.
This will likely be used for pro-abortion propaganda, but that does not make it a bad thing.
OK folks, here we go!
The DHS domestic terrorists memo said that Pro-Lifers were on the list, and heres proof!
Another one of Rahms crises that should not go to waste! And although the infamous memo was pulled, the seeds of doubt & mistrust were planted in the minds of many sheeple. Get ready for a media blitz against the pro-life cause, regardless of Operation Rescues responsible Press Release.
Vigilance, warriors! The persecution continues, but dont give up. There are many who will stand & do exploits because they know their God. This is OUR time!!
First of all your analogy is completely broken. In the case you describe there is an illegal act occurring. In the case of abortion, it is currently legal, even if wrongly so.
As a nation of laws when a law is unjust we are called to non-violent civil disobedience to change the law. There is a right way and wrong way to approach a problem. I have put in numerous hours and miles protesting abortion and praying in front of abortion clinics. Until today we were winning this battle...this one act has set that progress back immeasurably, which will ultimately lead to many more innocents being butchered.
I would bet most of the armchair cheerleaders for this act have never once lifted a finger (let alone gotten their butts off their chairs) to do anything about abortion.
And since you “don’t really care”, you are as responsible as Tiller.
“I do not support this. He should have been prosecuted, not killed.”
He was prosecuted and they let him off.
With the number of Freepers taking the “high” road on this thread, by now somebody must be suffering from hypoxia.
Tiller was a vile, evil person who had fouled the air we breathe for entirely too long. Do I condemn the man who finally took out the garbage? Let me put it this way. “Vengeance is mine,” saith the Lord. Who am I to question what means He uses to exact that vengeance?
