God love him .. "Bar, what'dya think ?
I HATE to use MSNBC footage, but it's the only site I've found that has the VIDEO of the two George's after the jump. Suggestion: turn off the sound and just watch ... ;)
Asked why he does it, Bush told CNN: Well, two reasons. One, it still feels good. You still get a charge out of it. Not easy to do at 85. And secondly, just because youre old, that doesnt mean you cant do fun stuff. And you dont want to sit around drooling in the corner. And so its a wonderful release.

Bush celebrates 85th by skydiving over Maine
KENNEBUNKPORT -- To cheers from the assembled crowd and cries of "Gampy!" from his grandchildren, former President George H. W. Bush jumped out of a plane from 13,000 feet Friday to celebrate his 85th birthday.
Jumping tandem with Sgt. First Class Michael Elliott, Bush came in for a smooth landing on the lawn of the church where generations of Bushes have been married, St. Anne's along Ocean Avenue.
"Well, we made it!" he told the crowd gathered to watch after detaching his parachute. "It was a beautiful day in the air."
The day didn't start out that way, with thick cloud cover blanketing most of the coast and a wind blowing out to sea in the morning.
Because of that, the plane carrying Bush had to make several passes overhead before the first parachutist, a member of the Army's famed Golden Knights, could do a test jump.
But just as the president's turn neared, the skies cleared, the sun came out and the golden parachutes floated away from the plane against a field of robin's egg blue.
On the ground, former First Lady Barbara Bush gathered with her children and grandchildren and watched the sky as her husband spiraled down.
"She was very supportive," Bush said.
He added that his wife had earlier said, "It's a good thing you're doing it at the church, this way we won't have far to move you."
Bush's son former president George W. Bush said it was a thrill to see his father's jump.
"I think it's awesome for an 85-year-old man to jump out of an airplane," he said.
Friday's jump was Bush's seventh (he had one during World War II and six since with the Golden Knights, the last for his 80th birthday), but may not be his last.
He said he plans to repeat it in five years, when he turns 90.
Following his jump, Bush was heading back to the family home at Walker's Point, where his chief of staff Jean Becker said the family was having a party for him.
Already, she said, he had heard from friends that day, offering well wishes.
"Mikhail Gorbachev e-mailed him today," Becker said, adding that other former presidents would likely call later.
The birthday wishes of heads of states, though, couldn't have been more heartfelt and openly offered than that of Bush's local admirers.
From the boats gathered along Ocean Avenue, voices singing "Happy Birthday" could be heard, carried on the breeze, as Bush posed for photos. Across the lawn, Bush's family picked up the refrain: "Happy birthday to you "
