I’m waiting for someone to point a finger at GWB... Maybe someone will blame one of our mobile missile defense radar platforms mounted on a U.S. Navy carrier...

George Bush was on the flight.

He lit the fuse on a bomb, then parachuted to safety on a canoe which was pre-positioned under the crash site.

He rowed the canoe to a 2-person submarine that’s disguised as a crocodile, which he pedaled back to Annapolis, Maryland.

Isn’t the crash site 450 miles off the coast? What’s “nearby” mean?

Evidence seems to point to sudden, catastrophic failure. I suspect terrorism or some other explosion. If there were no pilot communications, something went awry really quickly.

I think you're correct. I've heard no report on the altitude of the aircraft. That far out from its departure, it should have reached a cruising altitude. What was the plane's descent rate?

The aircraft (or pieces thereof) likely hit at

terminal velocity.
