George Tiller shooting prompts PETA ad campaign in Wichita

WICHITA - A national animal rights group plans to erect billboards in Wichita urging people on both sides of the abortion debate to go vegetarian.

One version of the billboard says, "Pro-Life? Go Vegetarian." The other says, "Pro-Choice? Choose Vegetarian." Both feature a photo of three baby chicks.

Lindsay Rajt, campaign manager for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, said the billboards were prompted by the recent shooting death of abortion doctor George Tiller, who was killed Sunday at his church.

"The discussion of the value of life is front and center right now in the public conversation," Rajt said.

So Peta exploits the murder of a notorious abortionist to promote vegetarianism?? That picture doesn’t make sense.

Have a heart, PETA. At least show a cutaway drawing of the baby chicks still in their eggs, and a demented goon standing nearby with a sledgehammer.

Ask PETA if we can start killing dogs and cats with the same methods George Tiller used to kill viable baby human beings.

Oh, that’s right, PETA already is one of the largest killers of dogs and cats in the nation.

Ugh. GO away PETA. They will not be well received here in Wichita.

We have one of the best barbecue joints in the nation. Hog Wild Pit BBQ.

You are absolutely right, but that has never stopped them before. I guess we should just let animals get over populated too, let them fight and compete and kill each other for food. Much more humane, a starving group of animals. On the upside, It would “thin the human herd”, literally.

How about PETGA. People for the Ethical Treatment of Gay Animals

Or maybe PETLGBTA. People for the Ethical Treatment of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Animals....because, you know, it's natural, and there must be some pets out there that are in the wrong body. Good old Duke just might turn out to be little miss Daisy...

PETA is too stupid and insensitive to hear the screams of the carrots as they’re cut up and dropped into the tofu soup.Vegetarians have been responsible for murdering milions of soy beans.

Vegans lack the energy to abort/murder. They just sit around with fragile bones, but at least they feel Superior!

Sure it does. They feel animals have the same right to life as humans. (although they would just as soon see meateaters dead)

These billboards in a nutshell show what is wrong with PETA. They believe that there is a moral equivalency between killing human babies and killing animals for food. Well PETA, what about all of that grain crop you kill every year? It’s living you know.
