Newsweek editor Evan Thomas brought adulation over President Obama’s Cairo speech to a whole new level on Friday, declaring on MSNBC: "I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God."
Thomas, appearing on Hardball with Chris Matthews, was reacting to a preceding monologue in which Matthews praised Obama’s speech: "I think the President's speech yesterday was the reason we Americans elected him. It was grand. It was positive. Hopeful...But what I liked about the President's speech in Cairo was that it showed a complete humility...The question now is whether the President we elected and spoke for us so grandly yesterday can carry out the great vision he gave us and to the world."

Agree — I remember when Time and Newsweek had ‘some’ substance to them, and some pages! Now when I see these Obamunist rags at market checkout I laugh because they don’t even have any ad copy inside! Who wants to advertise in a dead mag?
Well, for one thing, there is this matter of his penis ~ however so small, that's what folks say it is.
He's also not very good at all in predicting the future ~ it's like he's blinded to the thought that his actions could have consequences. Several times he's just wandered off from major matters of state to "party". And then he dutifully reads his teleprompter even to the extent of "introducing himself" ~ which was totally bizarre.

Brian Williams bowed to him, news anchors swoon and get tingly now Obama has risen to the heights of deity and worship.
Not one of these news people could think to ask a simple question regarding that speech, like when Obama said Iraq was a war of Choice:
So Obama regarding you choice it appears, you have chosen to continue and send troops into battle in a war that you do not agree with and do not support, isn’t that just a wee bit insane?
