I love it when a reader decides to send a nasty e-mail from his company e-mail address in response to one of my columns.
In this case, the e-mail came from Brian Sturtevant of Southern California Edison, who obviously disdains pro-lifers. Mr. Sturtevant wrote:
'You people disgust me. Although, I suppose we should all thank you.....in exchange for the murder of one American hero, we now have a National Martyr who will serve as an effective recruitment tool for the rights of women for decades to come. I expect to see all of you pushed back into the cave from which you crawled over the next eight years.'
One would hope Mr. Sturtevant isn't speaking on behalf of Southern California Edison, although it's interesting that he uses "we" twice. So I decided to send an e-mail to SCE's media relations department:
Dear Sir/Madam —
I received the [above] e-mail from an individual apparently connected to your company. The executives at your company should be aware that an employee has sent out a nasty e-mail from his company e-mail account that has nothing to do with the work of SCE.

Thus far there has been no response from SCE officials, but if and when I receive one, I may print it.

This guy is too stupid to breath on his own. First off Tiller will never be an American Hero. While the media made a lot of noise about the murder, most Americans can not reconcile late term abortions with the so called right to choose. Politicians still view abortion as a third rail and those that advocate the murder of the unborn will find it difficult to use Tiller as a tool against the forces of good.
The collumnist has a fascinating (and appropriate) approach to this miscreant.
If the left considers the accused a "terrorist" then we should do with this "terrorist" what the left wants to do with the terrorists in Club Gitmo. Prosecute them in civilian court, grant to them a snazzy defense team, get them out on bail too!

Anyone who sees this man as human needs to see some kind of doctor themselves. They're just plain sick, not to mention evil.
In my opinion, Tiller was no different than any other terrorist - maybe worse. All those dead babies! 60,000 of them who would have been happy, smiling little children today.

I fully expect Hollyweird to crank out an epic about his life with Sean Penn, George Clooney, Tom Hanks or some other typical Hollyweirdo/useful idiot lefty which will portray Tiller as the “greatest man who ever walked the face of the earth”. It will sweep the Oscars. However, you’re right that the actual abortions themselves will be played down in their whitewash.
And there's lots of hate on that side...

The pro-life Republican idiots in Washington missed another chance to educate Americans about abortion. They let the liberals set the agenda - again!
This would have been an excellent chance to teach what abortion - especially late term abortion - really is.
