You can always tell on campus who the conservative professors are. Theyre the ones not attempting to indoctrinate their students. When I had the opportunity to teach several courses at a local college a few years back, I became a conspicuous example of this phenomenon.
I stuck to the facts but could not prevent students from occasionally politicizing discussions as established practices are not easily abandoned. Their interjections always unnerved me. On one occasion, a young lady replied, in response to a mundane comment from a peer, Well, Im not surprised. Were all Democrats in here with the exception of one person.
I looked up and assumed she was talking about me. I thought, Googling really has reached epidemic levels. However, I soon discovered that she was addressing the previous student who spoke, an individual who then promptly turned red.
I defended my ideological compadre, urging, Why dont you folks just respect her diversity? Unfortunately, my suggestion immediately confirmed to every observer that there were, in fact, two Republicans in the room...

They love people of all colors and they don’t believe that “white” is a color.
That will work until the electoral process is totally subverted by illegal immigration, political fraud by the elected classes and information fraud by the media. Then the late President Kennedy will be 100% right when he stated:
Diversity is just a tool of division amongst liberals. Division and special status is a hallmark of the Democratic party. That, coupled with dissatisfaction, envy of the wealth of others, and exaggerated claims of ‘Consitutional [implied] Rights’ makes Democrats and liberals truly worthless human beings.
It seems that nearly all of these people are getting
some or all of their incomes from the tax payers.
Oh, now I understand, duh!
That is how they win elections with our emotive electorate, they have monopolized the word “nice.”
This crap was well advanced in the '50's when I was in university. It has just gotten more and more pervasive, down to the primary and secondary schools too.
You’re absolutely right. My kid in high school recently had to do a presentation on what she thinks of global warming. She thinks it’s all a fraud and a hoax, but the teacher told her that she had to deliver the presentation from a pro-global warming perspective. She fought it, then delivered the speech, then told the kids in the class that that’s not what she really believes. A large number of the other kids were on her side. I don’t yet know what grade the teacher gave her.
I had the same experience in Law School. I was always called on to give the Christian Conservative answer. I actually had one fellow student, a rather large lesbian, tell me to jump in front of a bus when I gave one of my answers. I looked at her and said “How very tolerant of you” and continued on with my answer. I was also told by another lefty woman to jump on a grenade because I supported the troops. I loved Law School in MASS.
The left TALKS diversity and can’t stand anybody different from them.
It is the old truism of 'divide and conquer' applied to the political battlefield. The US used to have a overwhelming middle-class population in both income and society. Now the culture drives the individual to find distinctions between himself and his neighbor and the victim-hood concept usurps the joint togetherness of former years.
I had a professor that would only refer to me as “The Republican” in class and she usually said it with a hiss! I never turned red, though. I loved arguing with that moron.
“2A will end up being the final and deciding VETO against libtardism... “
We still need to go thru the jury nullification box before picking up the cartridge box. People need to educate themselves and look up John Jay, our first supreme court justice.
The other hope that might have a chance are the States reasserting their 9th and 10th amendment powers or a tea party movement that translates itself into powerful conservative force, other than that I will party like its 1859 or 1769..
Either way the clock is ticking and the republic does not have long left...

I share your pessimism about the continuation of the republic. However, we have examples of the jury shutting down an overly reaching federal government through the jury box.
