FORT WORTH, Texas—Authorities say they are investigating a natural gas explosion at the Fort Worth, Texas, home of megachurch pastor T.D. Jakes.
Fort Worth fire spokesman Lt. Kent Worley says the blast Sunday in the sunroom of the home appears to have been an accident. Authorities say no one was injured and there was no fire. The sunroom was heavily damaged. Worley says the room had a gas-fed pool heater and a large gas-fed barbecue grill.

On January 20, 2009, Jakes led the early morning prayer service for President-elect Barack Obama at St. John’s Church in Washington, DC, according to NBC News.
Jakes subscribes to “prosperity theology,” which in essence teaches that God rewards his faithful followers by overt material means.
As such, Jakes is unapologetic in amassing expensive clothes, luxury cars, and property. His detractors, however, argue that the Jesus of the Bible did not practice such an indulgence in material wealth, and as such, Jakes is teaching a contra-Biblical message.
Jakes on Obama: “this is not just a victory for African Americans, it is a victory for democracy that proves that our country provides possibilities for all people. It is also a sign that a metamorphosis is in progress. Today we saw that Americans respect experience, but are interested in change. I hope that we can somehow merge the best ideas of our differences and emerge with a president who epitomizes our highest and best ideals. While it remains unclear where we are going, last night proves that we as a people have moved beyond business as usual”
Jakes on Rev. Wright: Jakes … accused the media attempting to “discredit, or at least question” Senator Obama because of his allegiance to his former pastor. But he also made an effort to explain the sermon in context to his readers.
“To be sure, the tenor of the infamous sermon sounded angry and that anger is unfortunately not without chorus as there are some blacks who feel left without true vindication. But please know that we are not monolithic and all blacks do not all agree with him, with me, or with anyone else,” he writes.
T D Jakes[among others] is being consulted and promoted by the Obama administration.
Jakes’ apparent inference that, if Obama had not received the nomination, it would have been an indication of continuing racism in America.

Worley said the damage was centered on the sunroom and there did not appear to be any major structural damage to the 15,000-square-foot home itself. He said the sunroom apparently was originally a large patio area that had been enclosed during a renovation.
Jakes was in another home on the property when someone else at the home went to investigate the loud noise
Jakes delivered a sermon at a church prayer service for Barack Obama on the morning he was sworn in as president. Jakes is pastor of The Potter’s House, which has more than 28,000 members.

Who cares if he has money. Its up to the church leadership and congregation—(not the federal govt.) to hold the pastor accountable. Church members can vote with their feet if they suspect impropriety! What I like about TD Jakes is his message of overcoming challenges with hard work and goals. So much better than teaching how to be a loser and rely on govt. handouts.
He is a two-bit, religious phony, hawking his health-wealth-prosperity message as a perversion of the gospel. He lives a lavish, multi-million dollar lifestyley paid for by his fawning idiots who fall for bull crap. He is an avid supporter of baby-killer 0boooooomba cause Zero was black (well half-black, no need to mention his half-white side). I wouldn’t be surprised if TD Jakes set up the explosion to garner more money from his own useful idiots.
