Rush is right again. For the NY/DC elite msm types, it’s not about ratings or viewership because regular folks aren’t the intended audience. The only audience they are interested in is each other.
I can only think of one word to describe it...
INCEST.

Lets see...Katies being paid $15 million/yr to pull in just over 5 million viewers...methinks someone is overpaid...
About 1 cent per viewer per broadcast (or $1 for each 100 viewers.)
That’s a huge number when you think about it. Are their advertisers making $1 per 100 viewers per broadcast? They are very likely losing money just on her pay alone?

Yea, but aren’t these companies publicly owned? Where are the stockholders?
If I owned stock in a company that continually made dumb moves that lost money, I’d be up in arms. Where is the Indiana retirement funds? Don’t they own any CBS stock?

C'mon everyone...isn't it obvious what's going to happen?
She is being paid the most ever to produce the worst results in history....
In other words, Katie is soon to be tapped to run the US Health Care program...

It’s a race to the bottom between CBS & NBC News..

It’s sad that even 5,000 people tune in to watch that insipid drivel.

“Its sad that even 5,000 people tune in to watch that insipid drivel.”
CBS, in many cases has a captive audience, which is the only reason they ever had any ratings to speak of. In my area it is the only channel you can get without a dish. On June 12, when the digital changeover happens, I likely won’t even get CBS...and it won’t upset me in the least!

Maybe they should have Billy Mays or the ShamWOW guy do the news?
I would watch the ShamWOW guy do the news.

On June 12, when the digital changeover happens, I'm guessing that will put a dent in ABCCBSNBC.

All they are doing is setting it up for bailout money so the government can take over the network as a 60& stakeholder.
I wonder if the salary of Catie will be “regulated?”
To: Brookhaven
Oh absolutely! It would be more effective for the advertisers to take that penny they spend on each viewer and use it to send out email advertisements...at least 1 in 10,000 will bite...
