I used to like PJ until I saw a clip of him on Maher trashing Rush. Screw you, Peej.
Driving Like Crazy is a good read.
There are no sacred cows with PJ (see, e.g., Parliament of Whores, Give War a Chance) and he's an equal opporunity skewerer calling 'em like he sees 'em - and that's why I still like him.
“Driving Like Crazy is a good read.”
Sorry, don’t have an hour to listen and haven’t read book: if the title is an allusion to Obama, this is the most succinct version I’ve seen of the wild ride he’s taking us on:

Stop Obama! I want to get off!
Yeah. I remember that. My stock in him went way down after that.
I've noticed a persistant phenomena too: Conservative and/or libertarian commentators, of very similar opinions to Limbaugh, but with FAR less influence and income than him (& with egos that match) tend to like to skewer Rush.
Surprise, surprise, eh?
Yes, shocking. PJ is a satirist, those other guys are bottom feeding opportunists who haven't had original thought in 30 years
He's a Libertarian
He was funny back at the National Lampoon, I’ll say that. Jeff Greenfield, who’s now a “political commentator” (meaning leftie yes-man) also worked at NatLamp.
I'd forgotten that he'd been there. National Lampoon was like eating at the Old Country Buffet: Lots of food but nothing that satisfying yet still an irresistable urge to revisit the buffet line hoping to find something good to eat. At least that's how I remember it. National Lampoon that is, . . . and Old Country Buffet, now that I think about it.
