"We're not sure why this happens," said Andres RiveraThe same reason other glaciers do what they do? Natural forces beyond our control maybe?

These type articles always seem to trumpet, ‘rising global temperatures’. Isn't the Earth’s temperature dropping?...and has been for at least the last 10 years? The church of the Global Warming Moonbats preaches on.

Nourished by Andean snowmelt, the glacier constantly grows...... Yet more evidence, as if it were needed, of the ignorance of journalists. Glaciers grow when snow does NOT melt. Rivers grow from snowmelt, not glaciers.

Kid, on an outing with his Dad...
Kid: “Dad, where did all these rounded rocks come from?”
Dad: “Thousands of years ago, they were picked up by a glacier and dumped here.”
Kid: “Where did the glacier go?”
Dad: “Back to get more rocks.”

“one of only a few ice fields worldwide that have withstood rising global temperatures”
Wow! tough ice eh!!!
How exactly does ice withstand higher temps?? Ice melts at 32 degrees No!!!!!

Amazing, a glacier that has been stable for more than 100 years has started growing. And “scientists” don’t understand it.
Perhaps it is getting colder, hmmmm...?

EVERY evidence of man-made GW is anecdotal, and relative to locational context, not systemic.
For instance, The anecdotal concern about Antarctica is the calving of glaciers in the western Antarctic; meanwhile the depth of ice and snow in the interior and on the eastern shores continues to thicken.
Man-made global warming is a religion founded in political science more than climate science.

It is on of those things that can be used both ways.
If the glacier recedes, it is due to global warming.
If the glacier progresses, it is due to global warming.

More ice means water is freezing, not melting. What CAN’T the scientists conclude from this?

"We're not sure why this happens," said Andres Rivera,
It happens because all of the melting that can affect sea levels occurred over 7000 years ago.
