Ahmadinejad plays to the rural constituency almost exclusively. His own family migrated to Tehran from the provincial village of Aradan, and--as embarrassing as Tehranis find his rural accent, clothes, and demeanor--to villagers, the presence of one of their own in high office is nothing short of empowering. Ahmadinejad has literally handed out money in the provinces, even printing extra currency to do so. He has the undying loyalty of many of these villagers, and he is going to need it.

clicked the link figuring it was a made up headline. when i saw they indeed use those very words i closed the link.
its real easy to compare two people when you cheerypick so i guess a headline like,”Meet Obama,Americas Hitler” or perhaps,”Meet Obama,Americas Stalin” wouldn’t on the face of it thought to be offensive.
The Left is utterly insecure. It needs scapegoats to cover up for its insecurity. Hence going back to beating on Bush, who has nothing to do with this election. These people are truly pathetic.
As for doing more damage. . .Obama in his first two months; has changed the map, 'face' of America; altered the character of American politics and faster than anyone can utter 'John Hancock'. All to say; IMHO; that Obama is so far, unprecedented, in his efforts to damage America as he attempts his 'recasting' of our Country, in his image.
Think Obama has distinguished himself as well; by having the most corrupt, dishonest. . .degraded Administration that we have ever seen. . .and sadly; pathetically; there is more to come; as Obama, has 'just begun'.

No, he didn't take credit, he tried to take credit before he found out who was winning, he thought it was Mousavi and he patted himself on the back about the robust dialog the Iranians were having and he caused it and brought change. Well, now there is no change and the libs are pi**ed because they wanted the ONE to take credit for it. Isn't going to happen, the Iranians will run rampant again today but that will be about it.
All foreign journalist were told they had to leave today(read it on twitter from a BBC guy)because their visas were going to expire today. After that you can bet(if it isn't going on now)that the Mullahs will do some serious crowd control. Back a few years they used helicopter gunships on a crowd, don't think they won't do it again as soon as they think no one is looking. Imanutjob won and will stay glorious leader!
This is not a CBS article per se. It is a copy and paste piece from the New Republic. That said, why is CBS copying and pasting articles from liberal sites and no conservative articles?
