CIA Chief Says Cheney Almost 'Wishing' U.S. Be Attacked Again

CIA Director Leon Panetta says former Vice President Dick Cheney's criticism of the Obama administration's approach to terrorism almost suggests "he's wishing that this country would be attacked again, in order to make his point."

Panetta told The New Yorker for an article in its June 22 issue that Cheney "smells some blood in the water" on the issue of national security.

Panetta acts as though the Dems never played politics with the Iraq war. Remember “Bush lied people died” Remember all the hoohah about the 16 words in a speech.

No actually he isn't. Panetta is a political animal and he thinks in political terms. He speaks in political terms. This is why he is a terrible choice to be Director of the CIA. This should be a non partisan job. The job should go to someone who has extensive intelligence experience. This position should be above politics. But the Democrats have always put these types of creeps into positions that should be non partisan. Think about the Clinton administration.
