“Republicans Need to Grow a Sense of Humor”

Hell they need to grow something more than a sense of humor...how about a spine and a pair of _ _ _ _ s.

I’ve hung around both Democrats and Republicans for many years and I can tell you Democrats have no sense of humor. Whenever you hear laughter, they are Republicans.

Exhibit A Barack Obama’s Special Olympics comment on Leno. ... The media took little notice and sharp comedians like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert managed to successfully lampoon Conservatives for being humorless old bags.

Gee... I don't suppose that could be a part of the problem. Nah.

So far not a very convincing argument from steven crowder

Exhibit B Wanda Sykes’ Correspondence Dinner Shtick -... To be fair, it was her least funny bit of the night, but was still performed within the context of comedy.

So when imus says "nappy headed hoes" that's not considered comedy. Got it. So far, no good. I don't think steven crowder is actually reading what he wrote.

Before Reagan, we were seen as the party that couldn’t take a joke. The Gipper fixed that one for us. Now, however, because of silly Conservatives using political correctness as a fulcrum for political gain, we find ourselves right back at square one.

B.S. I do not think that Reagan would have stood for anyone cracking a joke at the expense of his children. Joking about bombing the commies, sure, but never about his kids.

I think the real problem is not a lack of funny bone in the GOP, it is a lack of backbone in our elected politicians.

There’s a difference between a joke or comedy and a slur. I’m proud to say that I don’t think slurs are very funny but I love a good joke!

"I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities,"

Magazines Debate Palin Remark

Who was it that needs to get a sense of humour again? (Check the comments)
