I think Republicans have a terrific sense of humor. Reagan in particular:

“Mr. President, you have been in office for four years but have not had a summit with the Soviet Premier. Why is that?”

“I want to have one but they keep dying on me.”

Yes, it was much better when only republicans were constantly apologizing & getting run out of office for innocuous comments.

Every time I see Joe Biden give a speech I laugh.

When I watch Obama destroy the free market, enslave the future generations with debt, and trample the Constitution it's hard to find any humor in it.

Dear Chowderhead:

Maybe the GOP decided to try being perpetually offended and humorless because it has worked so well for the Democrats.

Who else could nominate a judge for the supreme court saying that "wise Latinas make better decisions than white males."? Who else could have their DHS secretary send out a report about military veterans and people with idealogical differences from her own being potential terrorists? Who else could spout off about "typical white persons" then accuse their opponents of racism?

As a republican, I found this cartoon amusing. The Democrats? They didn't see the humor.

And when has Obama been the source of their jokes? The media didn’t dare to even roast him at his roasting. A double standard, perhaps?

Republicans need to shut up and laugh a little.

Yup! Sure! You bet! All of this is just simply hilarious! No damage going on here, just us humorless "Republicans"! While the country collapses from within and froggie is happy as a dumpling in a pot of Chicken Little stew!

Yeah, just laugh at the idiot while he destroys the country from the Oval Office.

It's just too funny.

In a world where every liberal with a hang nail, screams outrage and gets a gov’t stipend to heal it, I ‘m supposed to be more flexible and laugh?

Born in Detroit, raised in Montreal, Steven Crowder really had nothing going for him until he turned twelve. It was at that age that he was awarded the (coveted) role of voicing the character "The Brain" on the hit children's TV series "Arthur". The role immediately launched him into the realm of "Babe Magnet". With this in mind, he continued down the path of acting (in both voice, TV and film) until he came to the realization that he was no longer the cute infant that Public Broadcasting had learned to love. Now that his baby-fat cheeks had left him, he knew that he needed a new "hook "to catch the ladies. Frantically, he searched for the answer until one summer, working as manual labor for the “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival, the art of Stand up Comedy caught his eye. He approached a famous comedian and received advice on how to get started in the business, after which he was escorted from the premises, fined a hefty sum and brutally beaten. Once the feeding tube was removed, Steven sauntered on down to a local comedy club to try his hand at the trade. The throwing of vegetables and angry screams of the crowd created and incredible "rush", upon which Steven became immediately addicted and he never looked back. One year later, (at 18 years old) Steven returned to the “Just for Laughs” as the youngest Comedian ever to grace the festivals stage (breaking the previous record set by Chris Rock at 19). His act was so well received that coordinators decided to feature him on XM Radio and booked him on tours across North America. Now, based out New York City, and fresh off of winning the Nationwide “So you Think You’re Funny” MySpace Comedy Contest, Steven Crowder continues to please both audiences and critics with his unique brand of Comedy and point of view.

******

I hate to break the news to him but he's not funny either!

I couldn't disagree more. Laughing this sort of thing off is to allow the liberals to perpetuate their two sets of rules approach to politics - anything is permitted to the Party, nothing to the opposition. What does the author think would have happened to a Republican who made a joke about the Special Olympics? Does he think the Dems would just have laughed it off?

On the contrary, I find this approach fully justified. If the Dems don't like it, let them stop using it first. We've put up with it for a very long time now. No more.

Yeah, I know exactly what the author means. I don't find anything funny at all in the above picture of MO serving "poor, homeless" people at a soup kitchen. Sure, some might laugh at the fact that the "poor" guy in front is taking a pic with an expensive electronic device while waiting for his free meal. As an eeeeevil conservative, I see only welfare fraud and abuse.

However, I do laugh at pictures of people in the Middle East who catch themselves on fire whilst burning an American flag.

The examples of "jokes" cited in the article were extremely tasteless and way too over the top to actually be funny.

On air, President B. Hussein Obama made a self-deprecating joke in regards to his bowling abilities. He made the implication that he was so bad at bowling that his skill level resembled that of a mentally challenged athlete. Twas a surprisingly funny, off-handed moment for a generally very unfunny president.

He wasn't joking.
He sucks.
During the primaries, he bowled a 37 in Altoona.
Here, look it up with Google.
