That’s where all the refuse is being dumped, and also possibly because they own / control often-visited Fundrace.

Good, we need to at least get rid of the Huffington Post.
____________
I find those stats hard to believe. I think they have people help them with that. It’s good to leave FR and not stay on all the time. That way it gets the hits it deserves.

What I mean by that, is pop in and out. Don’t just stay on and shrink it. I have it set as my home page on 2 of my browsers. Each time I open them, FR gets a hit.

Not to be the debbie downer here, but any ‘hit aggregating’ company data is not worth the bits used to make it, especially one that ranks the HuffPo so highly.

The Huffington Post's numbers are misleading because they host Fundrace, which is one of the preeminent campaign contribution databases. People go there to look up donors, not read the drivel they write.

Huffington Post?

Ridiculous. One wouldn’t think there were that many liberals out there.

"Why would someone go to fox news?"

A far more relevant question is why Free Republic doesn't have a larger share with accompanying political influence. Eventually somebody will realize that the nut-jobs that are allowed to post here are not furthering FR's goals, but just alienating moderates who are the pivotal group in most elections. Same with all the lonely heart types who use this forum as a chat room and just dilute the serious posts, essays and true conservative messages.

FR tops CNN and is just a hair below Fox..

And some wonder why O'Rielly likes to name call FR.

The factor missing from this is "stickiness." That's the measure of how much time people spend on a website once they go there. From other evaluations, FreeRepublic leads om that measure.

Kudos to Arianna, even though I can’t stand her. that is some serious traffic in a short time. She must be swimming in cash.

Jut taking a look at what Huffpo has become and it's not looking good. Kind of a cross between the vilest Democrat propaganda and who's screwing whose new automobile with the neat dress.

Gad!!

And PICTURES? It's like one of those porn sites ~

I think they run on a budget of about 12 million. DU, who didn’t even make the list, and who also has ads, still asks for about a half a million more a year than FR from its members. It puts our fundraisers in perspective. (especially for the gnat websites who have some sort of OCD issues tracking FR fundraisers.)

infowars is an absolutely wacked out website hosted by America’s premier conspiracy evangelist, Alex Jones.

Problem is, he's been right on so many things. He may be a little wacky on some things but right on target with others.

I'm just sayin.
