She may hate the US. But she seems to be bent on creating a different course for her country.
If a similar situation were to occur here, I don’t think the majority would care about what Iran was thinking.
If by some miracle, there were to be a regime change due to these actions...maybe...just maybe there could be an infusion of information on both sides that might create better relations.
I’m laying my cynicism aside for the moment. I’ll find it again tomorrow.

Sorry for the echo..echo
Savak is alive and well they just changed their name to to BASIJ and also became ten fold more brutal.
I just commented on comments others have made about Iran.
I wish them well; I wish them freedom.
I don't wish them nuclear weapons and terrorism.
what most people don’t want is an Ayatollah stamping his foot telling people to go home and back to their ordinary lives , re-assuring the vote count was correct and if you don’t agree you are going to be executed?
I've noticed that, too
Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.
Oh, dear...
Take a molotov cocktail and toss it at a mullah. Throw some metal into a powerplant and short it out, and if you think that you may die tomorrow, then kill those who would kill you TONIGHT.
Save the poetry for after the fight instead of in place of it.
I pray God bless and protect that woman.
Google has an new translation service in Farsi/Persian. It is not yet even a beta version, so the translation is very approximate.

This is how they think in the Iranian security establishment:

I agree Diplomat.
I’ve been ready about the Iranians’ efforts for freedom long before this election. This is just the first time the MSM in this country has covered it.
God be with the brave young Iranians. Has anyone heard from Dr. Zin (I believe was his name)? He used to post on FR from Iran.
Thanks AdmSmith.
I’m very disappointed that the American People do or have done very little to help Iranian People, only talk a lot. Although, same can be said about many expat Iranians.
Admsmith:
I think you mentioned “Bravo Sierra” in another threat on FR. Bulls*** indeed about some of that article.
Naturally, we hope for the best, never mind sanctions.
RE #35 comment here
threat = thread
BTW, IR has already begun its ambush and offensive on protestors at least in Tehran. The success of these protest do Not depend on mass advertisements in forums and blogs, but in Surprise on the part of opposition in Iran & around the world.
You are right. But, I hardly think she expects or expected US support. After decades, Iranians, IMO, have learned the lesson well.
Thank you Sir (and I mean that respectfully)
“Ive been ready about the Iranians efforts”
I meant reading. And, I was referring to reading about brave Iranians standing against their govt. for years, and reading accounts about this on FR, although nothing like what is happening now.
It has disturbed me that the MSM here in the U.S. has ignored these stands (10- to 15,000 Iranians marching in the streets) for so many years. If not for the internet, we probably wouldn’t be reading about this now.
