Check back in about 2 hours? Is that because pot posting takes two hours between thread comments?

Bhang is the answer!
from Flavors of India by Shanta Nimbark Sacharoff.
2 cups water
1 ounce marijuana (fresh leaves and flowers of a female plant preferred)
4 cups warm milk
2 tablespoons blanched and chopped almonds
1/8 teaspoon garam masala [a mixture of cloves, cinnamon, and cardamon]
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/2 to 1 teaspoon rosewater
1 cup sugar
Bring the water to a rapid boil and pour into a clean teapot. Remove any seeds or twigs from the marijuana, add it to the teapot and cover. Let this brew for about 7 minutes. Now strain the water and marijuana through a piece of muslin cloth, collect the water and save. Take the leaves and flowers and squeeze between your hands to extract any liquid that remains. Add this to the water. Place the leaves and flowers in a mortar and add 2 teaspoons warm milk. Slowly but firmly grind the milk and leaves together. Gather up the marijuana and squeeze out as much milk as you can. Repeat this process until you have used about 1/2 cup of milk (about 4 to 5 times). Collect all the milk that has been extracted and place in a bowl. By this time the marijuana will have turned into a pulpy mass. Add the chopped almonds and some more warm milk. Grind this in the mortar until a fine paste is formed. Squeeze this paste and collect the extract as before. Repeat a few more times until all that is left are some fibers and nut meal. Discard the residue. Combine all the liquids that have been collected, including the water the marijuana was brewed in. Add to this the garam masala, dried ginger and rosewater. Add the sugar and remaining milk. Chill, serve, and enjoy.

Obviously youve never read a pot thread in FR before.I've read enough to know that the fact that pot smoke may or may not contain carcinogens has nothing to do with libertarianism.
To: Peter Horry
The listing only applies to marijuana smoke, not the plant itself.
So the growers are not in harms way??? and the Potheads that contract Cancer are they going to blame the Tobacco guys and clog up the courts with lawsuits?

What *doesn't* cause cancer nowadays, according to the nanny state?
These warnings and findings are to condition the masses to accept down-the-road moves to lessen our Freedoms, imo. Can't put my finger on it to explain it but feel it in my gut. I can't believe it's because bureaucracy cares.
The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment causes cancer.
So there! Harrumph. :)

Oxygen and sand can give you cancer, if administered in the right way.

The incense sticks I have are labeled: CAUTION! May cause cancer in the State of California.
So some poor loser in the State of California is getting cancer just because you insist on burning those incense sticks. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

What does pot smoke containing carcinogens have to do with libertarianism? Nothing. Just an excuse for the libertarian bashers to pollute said threads.

every pot-head libertarian in FR goes ballistic on the subject. As opposed to the hyper-ventilating the pro-drug warriors do?

BS. More failed drug warrior "science."
Meanwhile we KNOW tobacco smoke causes cancer, and you can buy that at the gas station. Furthermore, no jackboots kick in your door and kill your dog when you do purchase it.

I know the true cause of the cancer! It's pitbull dogs relieving themselves on the pot plants! We need government to exterminate the pitbulls!

This should give Obama a reason to follow in the foot steps of England who plan to get a law on the books next month to require people who smoke to obtain a $20.00 license.

Some studies show that marijuana is not linked to cancer, or actually slows it's growth, this indicates that it is a cause of cancer.
Like all Hippy Logic, just because nobody spent Billions studying the effects of Weed as was spent on Tobacco, doesn't mean that smoking it is safe.
Pure logic would indicate to a (Normal) human that "Smoke" of any kind would have the same or similar effect regardless of it's source. Of course that means nothing to Hippy Dippies as their brains are predisposed to refuting anything the establishment says.
When science confirms the effects of smoking Mary Jane they come up with "Pshaw's", "no way Jose" and outright "Bull Sh*t" simply because they refuse to accept what is obvious and that is - Smoke of any kind will harm you (to varying degrees) regardless of it's source.
I say this knowing that I smoke my daily cigar regardless.
